I was just wondering if anyone remembers when Irina talked to Sydney at the ice rink that she said that "My love for you, for your father were not contrivances..." She has told Sydney that she loved her but I think that this is the first time that she has admitted that she loved Jack! I thought that this was major, but no one else has seemed to mention it. I am hoping Vanderheart will mention it in the review of the telling. This is my first time posting so I hope I did it right.

Yeah, she did mention that ... but with Irina you never know ...

btw, anyone remember what she did to Syd on the ice-rink? She said she loved her but than knocks her out ... what love is that? Is it maybe that is the night that Syd disappeared?

I don't even know why she did that...and I'm kind of mad because of it. :angry: I thought it would be like so she could make a point or something, but I don't know.

i don't think she wanted to, but she doesn't want to get caught, maybe sydney didn't have time to get up and chase her but sydney could have gotten her cell phone out and called someone to tell them that irina had just left...so i'm guessing that irina was just doing it to insure not being captured.

Irina wouldn't hit Sydney because she "wanted to." Not only does she love Sydney, but it's hitting her out of desire out of her character.

I'd go with she was ensuring her escape.
