But more importantly, did Vaughn (Michael Vartan) really go off and get hitched to someone else — as his shiny new wedding band seemed to suggest? "Yes, he did," confirms exec producer J.J. Abrams, who adds that Syd's mission to retrace those missing years will "definitely be a component" of Season Three. We can't wait.

The course of true love never runs smooth. C'mon, did you really want it to be easy? That's no fun! (It's not as though there's no such thing as annulment or divorce, y'know. Of course, Syd's not going to be happy that he didn't wait longer . . . dang, her father still hasn't remarried and look at what Irina did to him . . .)

And it definitely will be the two-years thing? Hurrah! No easy ways out! I'm liking it.

I knoiw this sounds bad! Byt yayayayayayaya sorry! I don't want him to be married, but not have Sdy to wakr up from a a coma or something so common!
 
i dont want to believe it!!! but i have been thinking about it. a while ago, cant remember if it was this site, but someone said somehting about debra messing coming in for season three and she would have a daughter and somehow they would be realted to vaughn. well after that someone contacted debra messing's agent and he said no, but now i am wondering maybe they just found another person to fill in her "role''!!!!
 
I kinda figured he was married :( But i remember a little while ago there was something about a new male cast member maybe it is a new love interest for syd? :thinking: (but of course he could never be as absolutley great as Vaughn!) ;)

Ditto!

The only thing I won't like is if we have to go thorugh several recaps or if there have been major developments that we didn't see because of the flash forward (i.e. Jack and Irina start working together, Sloane lures in Jack, whether Weiss was Vaughn's best man [I know, that's not a major development, but I just had to say it!])

Which reminds me, didn't a spoiler from way back say that Syd would have a new love interest?
 
If they could get Ethan Hawke back as the love interest, I could maybe stand this whole thing, but that's the only way. I hope it's not Will; the two of them have no romantic chemistry together. (Of course, we know she'll end up with Vaughn eventually, no matter what happens, but a lot of interesting things could happen along the way.)
