Chapter 2

Sydney linked her arms through her father’s as they walked through the front doors to the CIA Headquarters. Sydney saw many friendly faces.

"SYDNEY, OH MY GOSH!"

Sydney turned around to see Will Tippin running at her. He embraced her in the biggest hug ever. She felt tears running down her cheeks as she hugged him back.

"Syd…" Will touched her cheek tenderly, "It’s you. We thought you were…"

"Dead," Sydney finished for him.

"Syd!" Will hugged her again.

Sydney broke away after a minute.

"Come on. I know Dixon and Marshall will want to see you." Will took Sydney’s hand and led her past many people staring at her. Jack trailed them close behind.

Sydney saw Marshall and Carrie talking. She smiled and called his name.

Marshall looked up and smiled, "SYDNEY!" He ran over to her and gave her a hug.
"Sydney, you’re back! I mean…we don’t know where or what from, of course, but…"

Sydney smiled and gently kissed his cheek. "I’m glad to be back Marshall."

Dixon looked up to see what all the commotion was. He walked over to her. "Syd…"

Sydney threw her arms around her. Dixon was surprised but hugged her back, rubbing his hands up and down her back to comfort her.

"Dixon, I missed you." Sydney said.

Dixon laughed. "I missed you too."

"Alright, alright!" Kendall shouted. "Enough of this mushy gushy stuff. It’s good to have you back Agent Bristow…"

"Sydney," Sydney corrected him.

"Well, Sydney, it’s good to have you back."
