It's Been 2 Years

Hello fellow fan-fiction reader. As some of you all know, I will be leaving this Friday for my dads house for the summer. Well most of it that is. That most likely means NO allalias.com. so please please please don’t expect any new posts to my stories "Hidden Secrets", "A New Life", or "It’s Been 2 Years". I have come up with my 2 next books following "Hidden Secrets", and "A New Life". Book 3 is called "The Last Mission" and book 4 is called "The Newest Agent Bristow". I will most likely finish those also this summer. Expect new updates in late July or early August. and if not, then in September when school starts. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I wish it could be different, but I cannot decide that. Atleast ill probably finish more books! Look at it that way. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL summer and ill talk to you when I get back.

Love always,

muffin

Sydney followed Will to his car. She was going to stay with him at a CIA safehouse until the CIA was sure that they were both safe.

Will started the car."Syd, I am so glad you're back. You don't know how worried I was about you. I offered to help look for you but Kendall wouldn't let me leave the area."

"Well thanks for actually caring." Sydney said, resting her head back on the seat.

Will smiled. "What are friends for?" Will stopped the car. They hardly had to have driven because the house was so close to the CIA Headquarters. "We're here Syd."

Sydney followed him to a very shabby looking residence. There were several locks on the front door.

"It's standard safety procedure." Will said as he began to unlock them. The first lock was a normal keyhole. The second lock was a code lock. The third was a combination lock and the fourth was a normal lock and key to. Will uncovered a pad at the bottom where he placed his hand on it. It scanned his hand and allowed the dooor to open.

"Wow!" Sydney gasped. "I guess they really mean it when they call it a 'safehouse'."

Will laughed. "Follow me, I'll show you around."

Will led her to the kitchen area. Then he showed her the family room where there was a TV and computer. She followed him back to the back of the house where the rooms were located. He showed Sydney her's and then as they were walking back towards the kitchen area, Sydney noticed a picture on the wall. It was of her, Will and Francie.

Sydney touched the picture of Francie. She looked so happy, she thought. The picture was taken right after she had opened her restaurant. Sydney felt something wet on her cheek. She reached out to wipe it away, then realized she was crying.

Soon, Will had his arms around her, comforting her. Sydney let herself cry. She cried for her friend, she cried for missing Vaughn, she cried for being gone for 2 years, and she cried for everything.

"It's ok Syd. I miss her too!" Will said when they broke apart.

Sydney wiped her cheeks. "Will, I don't mean to be rude, but I am going to go to bed."

Jack paced back and forth in front of the Debriefing room. He was waiting until Kendall emerged with information about Sydney. Finally, after 3 hours, the doors opened and Kendall emerged.

"Kendall!" Jack called, "What did they say? What the heck happened to my daughter over the past 2 years?" He said, frustrated.

Kendall sighed. "To give you a straight answer, we don't know. We wanted to ask your permission before we went ahead with it, but..."

"Went ahead with what, exactly?" Jack said, fuming.

"Hypnosis."

Jack's face turned red. "ARE YOU CRAZY? DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME WE HYPNOTIZED HER?"

"Yes, I do." Kendall replied calmly. "She found out that you had programmed her to be a spy using Project Christmas."

"I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THAT!" Jack yelled.

Kendall sighed once again. "It's our only way, Jack. Our only way."

Sydney awoke with a start. She looked arround the room. She didn't know where shen was. Sydney got up and went to find a bathroom. She splashed her face with cool water. All of a sudden, memories flooded back to her.

She had just returned to the United States after finding out that she had been missing for 2 years. She had also discovered the love of her life was engaged to another agent, and now she was in a CIA safehouse with Will Tippin.

Sydney sighed and pulled a robe on. She went to the front of the house where she found Will at the kitchen table, on the phone.

"Yeah...yeah. I got you. I'll tell her. Bye," He hung up.

"Hey," Sydney called, planting herself next to him at the table. "What will you tell me?"

"I have to go out today and they would like you to stay here. They want you in at 6 o'clock tonight but they won't tell me why." Will said. "I gotta go, but I'll see you later. Don't answer the door unless it is a CIA agent, such as: your father, Vaughn, Kendall, Marshall, Dixon. I think you get the point."

Will kissed herr cheek and left. Sydney poured herself a bowl of cereal and a glasss of orange juice. She started to take a bite when the door bell rang. Sydney frowned and went to see who it was.

Vaughn was standing on the front porch. Sydney turned away, disgusted. She sat back down to eat her breakfast, and heard the door bell ring once again.

"Sydney, I know you're here. Please, please just give me a chance to talk to you." He said.

Sydney reluctantly got up and opened the door. Vaughn smiled.

"Hey, Syd."

"Don't calll me that," She said, her eyes showed a hint of anger.

"Could I come in?"

"If you must." Sydney opened the door wider so he could come in. "what do you want?"

"To talk."

Sydney snorted as she returned to the kitchen table and her breakfast. She left Vaughn standing in the hall.

"So? Talk then."

Vaughn sighed and sat down across the table from her. Sydney didn't even look up from her cereal.

"Syd, I'm sorry."

"For what? Breaking my heart? Was it really real, the way you felt about me, or was it all an act? How do I know that you've been dating this woman for years..."

"Sydney, I loved you more than any woman I had ever known. You don't know how hard it was on me when you went missing."

"But you just gave up, didn't you?"

"No! I looked for you..."

"Well, not very hard. I'm sorry Vaughn, but this isn't a good time form you to be here. I think you should go."

Vaughn felt as if his heart had been sliced in half. He got up from the table and let himself out.

After he left, Sydney cried. She went to her room and cried herself to sleep.

Chapter 3

Sydney woke up to find the time 5:39. She sat up and quickly began to get ready for the meeting. She pulled a comb through her thick brown hair. Sydney searched desperately through her closet to find a suit. She found a dark grey one and began to put it on.

She noticed the scar on her stomach and tenderly touched it, wondering where it had come from. She didn't have time to worry about it to much. She grabbed her keys and ran out the door to her rental car, making sure the door was locked behind her.

Sydney started the car and drove to the back entrance of the CIA Headquarters. She found Kendall talking to her father, both men seemed unhappy.

"Dad?" Sydney asked meekly.

"Sydney! You're right on time!" Jack Bristow said, enclosing her in his arms. He held her for a minute or so then let her go.

"What's going on?" She asked.

Kendall crossed his arms. "Sydney, there is only one reasonable way to get some information about what really happened to you when you were gone."

"That would be?"

"Hypnosis."

"Hypnoisis?" Sydney stammered. She searched her father's eyes for some sign of a rescue attempt, but found nothing. "Do you remember what happened the last time i was hynotized?"

"Yes. We are fully aware, but if you don't want to, it will take us longer to find out something..."

Sydney sighed, "I guess if it is the only way, I'll do it."

Irina paced impatiently as she awaited her contact's arrival. Fianlly, she heard movement down the alley. She turned to see a figure walking towards her in dark glasses, a hat, and a long coat.

"So?" Irina asked, walking up to her contact.

"Sydney is in the CIA's custody." The contact removed the hat. A long dark ponytail fell from the hat. "Ah, much better."

"And?" Irina tapped her foot.

"And, she is being hypnotized to see what happened during those 2 years." The contact said, toying with loose strands of hair that fell in her face.

"Great, just great," Irina muttered sarcastically. "Do what you can to prevent it from happening."

Irina turned on her heel and back to her car. She started the engine and then sped away, leaving tire marks on the pavement.

Vaughn went to find Leeann, his finacee. He finally found her. She was so beautiful that every time he saw her, his heart skipped a beat.

"Hey Lee!" He said as he kissed her cheek. Leeann stood up and wrapped her arms around him.

"I love you!" Leeann whispered in his ear.

"You too," Vaughn said. He pulled a chair next to her desk and looked her in the eyes. "I worried about Sydney."

Leeann produced a look of disgust. Leeann didn't like Sydney because secretly deep down, she thought he still loved her. She pushed her long, dark drown hair off her shoulders.

"Why?"

Vaughn sighed, "She is going into hypnosis in a half hour."

"Well you have to talk her out of it!" Leeann exclaimed.

"I don't know. It's the only way to get some info about the past 2 years."

Leeann grabbed his hand. "If you don't think she should do it, go stop her."
