Here's my take: Irina and Sloane will compete with each other to finish Rambaldi's final project, end up having a fight (imagine Sloane kickboxing with Irina!), Syd, Jack and Vaughan will come in and take care of everything...Jack will realize that Irina just needs to solve Rambaldi's mysteries...and will forgive her...because I think that they BOTH still love each other, Irina can't always see it because she's obsessed with Rambaldi. And Jack is not a loser...he probably knew as well as anyone that Sloane would try a double cross and would flee if given any provocation (such as the transmitter), plus he was the one who had marshall put it into a visible area
