Affleck accused of Garner affair

Big-screen superhero Ben Affleck is being called the bad guy behind Jennifer Garner's sudden split from husband Scott Foley.

Sources tell the Globe newspaper that Garner and Affleck-who's engaged to Jennifer Lopez- were very close on the Los Angeles set of the movie Daredevil.

A source says, "Everyone was stunned to see how they acted around each other- since she was married and Ben was with J.Lo."

At the time, Lopez was filming Maid in Manhattan, while Affleck and Garner seemed to be growing closer, eyewitnesses tell the newspaper. "If Ben was there, she'd show up on the set even when she wasn't due to work. That's very unusual for actors... Jennifer would stay close to Ben."

Garner- who has been linked to her Alias costar Michael Vartan- has said the allegations of an Affleck are untrue, but a friend of the actress says, "I'm convinced that Jennifer and Ben had an affair on the set of Daredevil- and Scott believes (that) too."

uhhh i think that article is really rediculous...first it was michael vartan that was the reason they broke up cuz they were "in love with each other for years" adn now its ben......that is really stupid..where do these people get these ideas....>=O

Pure speculation. I mean, it says a "friend" of Jennifers said she had the affair... a true friend would not of said that.

Yeh that is how rumors start it goes like from an unknown source we heard that JG was having an affair with TC, BP, MG, Tom, Bill, Jack, Carl, Sam, Alfred, Tony, Tim, Jim, Mike, Dan, Jackie, Sue, Mary, and Peter Jennings all last week... what a busy girl no wonder their marriage broke up... LOL :lol:

Don't believe any of it unless the Stars themselves confirm the rumors and say yeh I confess it all true... and of course without laughing!!! :rolleyes:

Yeah, I'm sure it was a "friend" of hers who told the press that. Whatever. It was probably somebody who'd met her one time. I think the media is just unable to believe that a relationship can experience problems without an outside affair. Yes, Jennifer and Ben were close; they were the stars of the movie, it was Jennifer's first major movie, and Ben showed her the ropes, in the process, I'm sure they became close friends. Especially considering the fact that JG seems very friendly and outgoing. I'm sure when people saw her with him, many with sick minds assumed the worst. But I don't believe it for a second. Even when the movie was filming, JG would say in interviews how she skipped cast related events so that she could be with Scott. I can't believe the media is reporting these rumors about her, of all people. I just hope she doesn't have to hear about this today, on her birthday.
 
i agree it probably was just some person who said they knew her. even though i feel the pain for jg and sf, you can't but imagine what a cute couple ben and jen or jen and micheal vartan would be right? but then maybe that is because jg would probably make a cute couple with anyone right?
 
hrm if i can fidn it i'll send one of the administrators an article i saw online. it was about how jen is usually happy with everyone but scott foley when ever there is an even and shes escorted. but of course this is a whole load of b.s. but what i can i say?
 
i cant believe people would start up all these rumors. watch, next week they'll be saying that JG has been dating David Anders as well. this cannot be a good birthday for jen
 
I can't believe any of this, we all know Jen was brought up better then that, and we all know how in love she was with Scott. Why can't there be a platonic relationship between girls and guys anymore? I mean really! Geez! Oh well, we all know that's not true :smiley: And I was just thinking how she's like one of the only people who hasn't had felgercarb talked about. Oh well.... :rolleyes:
 
I don't believe it for a second. I mean, I just don't think so, not only was she MARRIED at the time, but he was engaged. She's not a sl**, she's not gonna have sex with an attached co-star. As for her showing up even if she wasn't working? Doesn't everyone say that Jen's super nice? Maybe she went to go visit her friend, ben! Poor thing, can't say hello to someone without getting an article printed about her.

Gimme a break people. Ben/Mickey, whatever, she's not having an affair with anyone, with the possible exception of MV.

Disclaimer: I don't want anyone yelling at me about how I shouldn't say that about Mickey. I was just making a point. I am very pro-mickey, i don't think he's having an affair with anyone with the possible exception of Minnie.

Yes, yes I agree. To many damn rumours around. I doubt she was having any affairs at all. Maybe she was being a good friend to Ben Affleck and she was seeking a bit of a break from preassures at home and elsewhere at the Daredevil set. And I don't see why she can't go to the set, for goodness sake she works there!!! :angry:

Anyway, I feel their friendship has been blown out of proportion just because she got divorced. :rolleyes:

On a happier note I think it'd be really cool to be friends with Ben Affleck. Maybe she'll go to his wedding... :love:
 
It must be so tough to be a celebrity because there are always dumb rumors going around about you. Jennifer wouldn't do something like that. :angry:

Next thing you know the headlines will read. Did you hear that Jennifer Garner was having an affair with Mickey after been seen together at the Oscars but Minnie put an end to that real quick so Jennifer is now dating Roger Rabbit but is rumored to have dumped him because of his big ears for the The Invisible Man but one of her close friends says that is going to be over soon because she feels he is too transparent and has no real substance. Jen likes her men to be real men not just reflections in the mirror!!! LOL :rolleyes: :lol:

We all got to stop reading all these silly headlines about her most likely they are all FALSE and GOSSIP to fill the tabloids on dirty laundry or speculation from the Internel chat rooms! :( :eek:

LMAO I said that too!! About Mickey not Roger Rabbit. I can't imagine her with Roger, I mean Mickey is a suave guy, and if I remember correctly, roger was kinda of a clutz. LMAO why am I talking about this??
