Jess gets his own show!

Although jess is leaving Gilmore Girls, (though he may return later on I'm not sure) he IS getting his own show! It's a show about his life in California with his dad. It's currently being called "Gilmor Girls Spin-off" though I personally would appreciate it being given a more realistic name, o.O... Anyways, from what I hear it should be quite interesting. Umm.. I believe it starts midseason next fall, but I don't know what date and what time yet, cause I don't think the producers even know, O.o...lol. Anyways, I can't wait to see this series, it should be pretty good cause the people who wrote Gilmore Girls are writing the script for this, so of corse it'll be totally hilarious ad worth watching I think!

They will come up with something more creative than "Gilmore Girls Spin-off"... since it's still in the works, they most likely don't have a real name for it either.
I think I'm going to boycott the show. I don't like Jess, and the scenes with him in CA the past few episodes of GG didn't make me very excited.

Hey guys, I don't know if you've all heard, but things are not looking good at all for Jess' new show. Chances are, it might not even be a midseason replacement. And that means Jess will probably be back.

Hurrah! I hope he does come back, but its not like he's going to go to Yale with Rory, he didn't even finish high school! And Luke won't let Jess live with him if he's not going to school, so how would that work? I dunno. Anyhoo, it would be good if he came back, but did anyone besides me think he was acting terribly in the last few episodes! I'm starting to hate his character for just leaving Rory and acting like he doesn't care!

yeah, i don't know how I feel about these spin-off show shenanigans. Jess just needs to stay on Gilmore Girls, so Rory doesn't go back to Dean...

I'm just praying for Tristan to be at Yale when Rory goes there!

Wow, I haven't checked this post I made in awhile. Thanks for allt he replys, and I totally agree. I was thinking how they stopped airing Buffy about 4 or 5 season after Angel started. And if they do a spin off of Jess and it's as much of a hit as Angel was then maybe they will end Gilmore Girls after a few seasons... Goodness, I hope not. Anyways, I'm still going for the Tristan being at Yale thing. ^.^ I really liked his character. He was a lot like Jess in some ways but had some Dean qualities as well. Plus I think military school did him so good, lol.

I'm not sure. When I started this thread it was still on from my understanding but now it was cancelled (or so I have heard)and then I have also heard it was going to be cancelled for that air time and moved to a later date... So honestly I have no idea. Sorry for all the wrong/ maybe correct info ! The WB's schedule is so messed up this fall ! I don't even think they know what is going to be airing for sure yet!

Last I heard, a few weeks ago, it got canceled but it's still in the idea pool so it may be used later on.
