My guess is that she should sign up for the whole of Season 3, not 16 episodes this time, 'EVERY SINGLE ONE' ^_^ !
They said there was a pay dispute arising, which they presumed was over one of the casts contract but from what's been said know it's over ABC and what they are willing to pay out, which should be unlimited,lol!
It's not like Lena Olin will demand more money, she doesn't exactly need it, plus she doesn't seem the 'demanding diva' type. I just hope everything works out .

I suppose so , cos like they say "family comes first" so I don't really blame her because if I was in the same situation then I wouldn't want to be away from my family for long periods of time. I just hope that she signs for at least 16 again this time, or she's in less then that but has quite a few more scenes. In Season 2 she was probably only in the episodes for like 5-8 minutes (OK, just a guess) overall, apart from The Passage Episodes.

I agree, its nice to see irina in more than 1 or 2 scenes in an episode, the season finale was especially great. lots and lots of irina in that one.
