London Bridge is Falling Down

FINE FINE!!! YOU PEOPLE YELL A LOT!
Okay, so this part is someone POV and I'd tell you who it is, but I'll make you read a bit first. It's pretty obvious though. Here goes. Enjoy!

I shot back. As our attacker fell to the ground, dead, I realized who it was- Francie? I would deal with that later. I was more interested in the blood on me. But, I knew it wasn't my blood. Sydney had seen the gun first. She had leaped in front of me, who body convulsing as the bullets hit her. She was now lying on the floor, blood pouring out of her as quickly as my tears poured out of me. I grabbed the tablecloth off the table, glass crashing to the ground, and pressed down on Sydney's wound, trying to stop the bleeding, tears making my vision blurry.

"Hold on Syd. Someone get help! Hold on sweetie, I love you, don't leave me. I love you."
"Michael...I...Love..." Sydney struggled to speak.
"Shh, Syd save your strength, you can tell me later."
She shook her head slightly. She knew what I would not admit. Sydney was dying.
"Love...You..." Sydney gasped her last breath.
"NO! Sydney! NO NO NO NO!" I kept repeating that one word as I cradled Sydney's lifeless body. I hardly noticed as the paramedics came crashing through the door, just a minute to late.
"Time of death, 12:17."

The funeral was the worst thing Vaughn had ever gone through. It was even worse than his father's funeral. The one person who he loved more than anything, the one reason he had for living, was now lying, cold, in a coffin. Jack got teary, Irina cried (me- in this wacky world she's not evil, and the CIA let her come to the funeral), Will, after discovering after all this time that Francie was Anna, mourned the loss of two of his best friends. Weiss was teary eyed. And Vaughn... Vaughn went through every negative emotion in the book: hate, pain, sadness, anger (mostly at himself), guilt (he felt he should have been able to protect Sydney. He was the one who was supposed to die.)...

The rest of the small group of people walked up to Sydney's coffin. It waws an open casket, and Vaughn imagined that she looked as beautiful in death as in life, but he was too afraid to look. He didn't think that he would be able to hold it together if he did. He would probably land himself in an institution.

He was, however, going to give a eulogy. Every knew that he knew Sydney better than anyone, and Jack had thought it was appropriate. Vaughn hadn't been sure what to say, and had stayed up the entire night thinking of what to say. How could he put all the wonderful things about Sydney into words? Yet, he put on a brave face and walked up to the mic to give his speech to Sydney's closest friends and family.

"The first time I met Sydney, I fell for her. I mean, what's not to love? She's smart, brave, beautiful, just an amazing person. As I got to know her I became her confidante, the one person that, because her double-life and... difficult childhood, she could really be completely honest with. And soon, what started out as a crush on a friend, turned into being madly in love with this incredible woman."

Weiss looked shocked. He had known of Vaughn's feelings for Sydney, but had never heard him speak so strongly of them.

"Sydney, as it turned out, was not immune to life's troubles. She was hurt, both emotionally and physically all the time. And that feeling of her being human made me love her even more. She worked every day to make this world better. I don't know if she knew what a difference she made to all of us. I hope she does now. She was the most incredible person I ever met. I loved her." Vaughn reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, black, velvet box. "I was going to propose to her."

A single tear ran down his cheek as he stepped down. The faces in the building stared back at him in shock. But he didn't want their pity. He wanted SYdney. He sat in silence as music played.

I will remember you, will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by,
Weep not for the memories
Remember the good times that we had?
I let them slip away from us when things got bad.
How clearly I first saw you smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me
I wanna be the one

I will rememeber you, will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something much to deep
It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can't be heard

But I will remember you, will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so afraid to love you
But more afraid to lose
Clinging to a past that doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness
Deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had, oh you gave me light

And I will remember you, will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Weep not for the memories

But Vaughn knew he would weep. And he did. All of the bridges that connected Vaughn to the world fell down in London. He never married. Weiss would drag him out on dates, but Vaughn was never really there, even 10 years after Sydney's death, he couldn't move on. Weiss gave up eventually. Vaughn died on the 15th anniversary of Sydney's death of a broken heart. He walked through the gates of heaven and saw the angel of angels- Sydney.

The end! Hope you liked it! Yeah, more depressing than the rest of the story, but you know. Please review and read my next fanfic, whenever it goes up here. TTFN!! BTW don't ask me how they knew that Francie was Anna. Use your imaginations.

Wow. I think that this is the one of the first fics that actually made me cry. I can barely type now because of my blurry eyes. This was absolutely amazing.

I love making really sappy things that making people cry. I don't like to make people cry for other things, but I like writing stuff that makes people go "awwwwww." It's fun, you should see me now I'm like "Hey! I made people cry!" Don't hate me for enjoying it.

Well, I've obviously missed a lot.

The ending was very sad. I think you rushed it a little though. One minute I felt sorry for Syd, and the next second, I was like, "Oh, they're having a funeral?" It just moved really fast.

~Me :angel2:

It just had to be finished. Sorry if you thought it moved fast, but there wasn't anything else to write. She died, they had a funeral the end. And thanks for reviewing the whole day I'm like "Why didn't Alias Elle review yet?"
