eek! mother's day is next sunday!

so, uh...anyone got any good gift ideas? :D

i need an idea that's mailable since i'm about 500 miles away from my mother at the moment. :thinking:
 
Just give her call ... I mean ...

uh oh ... ok, it sounded like you don't need to send a gift, but sometimes mothers don't care about the gifts but like the attention ...
 
Well...I think i'm gunna treat my mom to a spa...there's one near where we live, and I think i'll treat her to that. She works waaaaaaay to hard, and I think she deserves something like that, just to get away and relax.
 
hmm...yeah, i was thinking about flowers but it's a bit silly since our backyard is practically an entire garden. :P

but i'm definitely going to give her a call! let's just hope i remember!
 
Call her the day before, and when she says that it's not mothers day, tell her that if u called on MD it wouldn't be a suprise now would it.
 
I might not even be here on the island for mother's day ... I planned a weekend getaway ... not knowing it was gonna be mother's day ... :thinking:
 
Darn...that really sucks...give her a call/send an e-mail...or wait until next weekend and say it was a suprise, you didin't forget, and that was part of your secret "plan".
 
can be done ... but most probably my sister would have thought of something already ... and then she will come to ask me to pay her what I owe her ...
 
omg i totally forgot about mothers day!! what is the date though??? may what? heh heh heh another excuse to go to the mall.... hmm i think i'll get my mom something from Sephora!! i love that store :D if i can't find anything good then i'll just make her a card :smiley:
 
I've been thinking about buying my mom one of those necklaces they put your kids baby pictures on. But then again she'd be going around saying look at my baby "You know when she was little........" LOL!
