Movies/Books that make you cry...

suspend your disbelief....mmmmhmmmm.....okkkkk.

But so many of the movies are true....ok only some, but still! And I think half the fun is getting into the story of it....as if I were actually there.

meet the parents was sad.. ya i know it's funny but remember when Gaylord (still can't believe it's his name) got so frustrated since everything in his girlfriend's family was accusing him of burning down the house and everything? i was crying then.. and my dog skip.. when the boy lost skip and when he found skip hurt.. i was bawling my eyes out... like literally weeping. i was watching it with my friends and they all started staring at me

I can remember...the very first movie I cried about was Little Princess (I think that was the name...) when the dad "dies" in the war and the girl is forced to become the servant at the school she used to attend...god, that movie was so sad.

I cried so much when I saw The Green Mile...good god! When Percy doesn't wet the sponge...and when he steps on Mr. Jingles!!! OH! I was bawling! Poor Dell, Percy is so mean to him! :(

nance, I'm sure you can reciprocate... I cried when Sam got shot in Fearless. I was depressed for weeks! 😭

Bridget, add me to the overemotional club, everything makes me cry! I cried in the Giver too, when they talk about the babies and what they do to them...ah!

gonna cry now just remembering it all!
Rachel

you're right, it is little women!

Hurray for you Rachel! Our numbers are growing...at a sad rate, I might add! lol....but The Green Mile, I never actually saw it, but from listening to it I started crying!

it's not at all! I read one at ff.net and I was truly in tears...not many fanfic stories do that to me, but I remember the story was amazing....and amazingly sad!

K - films that mad made me cry -
Moulin Rouge, Untamed Heart, Armageddon and the most of all time - E.T! lol, when i was little i blubbed soooo much 2 that film!

couldn't exactly understand that.....but you can laugh and I'll cry and have lots of fun with that...Kate understands me! lol
 if a movie can generate enough emotion in you to make you cry, then it's usually a good movie ^_^

The Little Princess! I absolutely sobbed when I watched that movie for the first time. I'm really attached to my dad, and when her dad "died", I freaked out. :D

that's also partly why I cried at the end of Armageddon. because her dad had to die (although I didn't care as much, it's Liv Tyler!) :D

I don't think I've ever cried for that reason, but almost everything can interest me....(ok wait...that EXCLUDES Dumb and Dumberer....I'd probably cry if I ever saw that!)
I try and understand each character, as crazy as it sounds...lol, and be a part of the story. And by then I'm attached and feel for each character!

Okay... here's the list of movies that has ever made me cry (not just teary eyed... tears rolling down the face crying)... in no particular order. Brace yourself, it's a hell of a long list! It seems like the only times I cry now are during movies...
