Politics General

All the people who don't like Bush are morons. Hes done a great job, like Goore could have done anybetter. The war is a good idea. we need to kill Saddam before he attacks the US. Would you rather have the Iraqi people free, or thousands of dead innocent Americans?

I just wen to a peace rally. Walked out of class at 1230 on the dot to do it. most of my class left. Had some speaker then marched around campus for an hour.

ROCK ON BROTHER!!! Man I totally agree!

OH boy... here we go again.....

Ok I think Bush is doing a Great job, but don't flame ppl for having different opinions just because they don't have the burning love for Bush doesn't mean they are morons. I agree they need to see the view I take on ;) but they aren't morons or idiots

I think we are going to War in April if you notice all the wars we start, begin in April; War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish -Am. please correct me if I'm wrong I just named those off the top of my head.

Also I don't know about any of yall but in recent news Colin Powell said is he Optimistic that they are going to have the 9 or 10 vote in the U.N. (united nations) in the next vote.

When Powell says that, that really scares me cuz usually its going to happen. and once that happens action is going to be taken. but I sitll think we are waiting for april.....

one i totally agree with crazy spinster and it's not nice to insult people with different opinions and two i think that just because i don't like bush doesn't mean that i liked gore either. i think bush is a worse president and needs to leave or find someone else to pick on. i'm not iraeli or anything i just don't think war is the answer and bush is pushing too hard to fight a war that shouldn't happen.

LOL! I totally agree! I wrote like the same thing earlier! Great minds think alike I guess. I was thinking that Gore should have won in the begining, but now I'm happy that Bush won. He has done a great job, and he's got this whole, don't mess with me attitude. These anti-Bush people are driving me crazy. And these anti-war people. Did you guys here about those kids who skipped school to go to protests? Who does that? I mean, Bush just said a few weeks ago that he wasn't going to listen to protesters. GIVE UP! Sheesh. Move to Canada if you're unhappy.

The problem i have is that people disagree with him only beccause they don't like him because of the bad rap the media gives Republicans. People don't even know sometimes much at all about the issue and they disagree with him because of who he is. Those are the morons i was making references too. Sorry for not clarifying. I live in one of the if not the most liberal towns in the world (Ann Arbor MI) so I know a thousand people in my school alone who woul disagree with me. In my high school, which has about 2800 people, I would say that about 5-15% of people are Republicans. Most of those people have well off and educated parents and are smart with high GPAs. I understand where many teenagers political opinions comefrom, their parents. It is hard to argue with them because all the liberals at my school can seem to say is "shut up", "Bush is a moron", "You are stupid", and "Republicans suck". They also do a lot of name calling.
Well there ya go an honest Republicans opinion.

that doesn't that mean we should just give up our efforts altogether. there's a reason we're protesting, we're not protesting for the sake of protesting! and how childish is that? "i don't like you anti-war people so i'm going to stop listening to you!" i can just imagine him sitting in the oval office, with his eyes closed, covering his ears, and shaking his head going "lalalalala!!"

doesn't he realize that these anti-war protestors are all his constituents and that, perhaps, he should at least give them the courtesy of giving them some consideration instead of wholly dismissing them as "crazy"? he's the president, for pete's sake, listening to the american people is sort of a big part of his job. that's not to say that he should always do whatever the american people tell him to do (even though, that's pretty much the job description for the american president), but LISTENING to us is the least he could do.

and just because we're unhappy with the way things are run in this country doesn't mean that we should all up and leave. this war affects the entire world, not just iraq and the united states. and if no one ever challenged the way a country is run, we'd turn into mindless drones obeying a dictator.
