How can Sydney be the one who was mentioned in the prophecy when in Season One, the prophecy said that this woman will have never seen Mt. Sebacio......which she did? :blush:
 
No, it's Sydney, that's what her mom said...and maybe she didn't see the "true beauty" of the sky...I dunno..just a guess...but I'm pretty sure it's Sydney..watch, i'll be eating my words come the season premeire! LMAO!
 
hmm yeah taht too. but it doesnt say anythign abouyt her not being the prophesy child, it only quelled her fire ^_^
 
but then, it never DID say she was. It just gave measurements and stuff. Maybe we're thinking too literal. Maybe she's actually got a fire burning? :blink:

So this will definitely happen. Because it said, "Perhaps a single glance would have quelled her fire" that there is past tense. Does that makes sense? :blink: whatever...plus, it also said PERHAPS, which means that it isn't 100% certain it would have quelled her fire. But wait, it says she'll render the greatest power unto utter desolation....to what? Earth? Man kind? Sloane himself? :blink:
 
yeah, that's what I'm thinkin...like the scar on her stomach, maybe she got it fighting evil. Bringing utter desolation to the evil people. Because if she's been fulfilling the prophecy for the past two years she's been gone (who knows if that's true or not) then it can't be utter desolation to man kind or earth..cause everyone is still alive..LMAO!
 
yes! so for 2 years she has been doing good stuff, but she isnt supposed to remember because then she would have the bad powers so she forgot those 2 yrs, now she doesnt have the power anymore but the world is a better place!
 
YEAH! Because if she DID remember, that wouldn't be good, and there was probably some weird effect...maybe there was an explosion though, or somethin, and she lost her short term memory? eH.....but they could always do regression therapy to get her memory back....
 
i think that irina took sydni.. and put something into syd's stomach.. thus the scar, and after she got the thing in her stomach.. she could tell her future.. therefore.. irina had the power to let sydni change her future.
 
hmm true! or maybe this machine, "the telling" told her how to do all the stuff, but then because she was getting dangerous made her forget! and because rambaldi is so smart he made the machine so it wouldnt allow regression therapy!
 
true...Rambaldi is smart like that...but wait, why would "the telling" make her forget, if telling means telling someone and not keeping it in?

But how the heck would Irina get that close to Syndey? Syd wouldn't let Irina get so close.
 
no, wait.. i think irina used "the telling" on sydni, and sydni forgot about the whole process, but irina didn't.. and irina is eventually gonna show up.. and tell her abou it
