Season 2 Promo pics- Ep18 Truth Takes Time

In an underground tunnel, Syd and Irina exchange gunfire. Irina runs to a ladder and climbs up. Syd commands her to "freeze," but Irina continues to climb. Irina emerges from the tunnel outside a Tuscan villa, and as she begins closing the escape hatch, Syd aims her gun up the hatch at her mother and fires. Irina is clearly hit. There is the sound of a helicopter. Vaughn and Dixon arrive in the clearing and watch the helicopter fly off. Vaughn sees Sydney on her knees crying beside "a fallen body." Vaughn kneels beside her and puts his arm around her.

This may be a little weird, but remember how we were lead to believe that Khasinau was the Man last season? And how many parallels there are between this season and last season (begin with a major development involving someone turning themselves into the CIA, look off&on for Rambaldi stuff, during episode 17 someone's loyalty is questioned...those are just the first few I can come up with)? Maybe Sloane isn't the evil mastermind in all this...(ominous music) EMILY IS!


And I hope it isn't Irina who's dead...besides I think she's still contracted for some more episodes this season...but Syd would definetly be upset if she found Emily dead (does she even know Emily is still alive?!?!?!?!?

I think if she found out Emily was evil she'd be shocked... but what can you expect from Sloane's wife?? i mean maybe some of his evilness rubbed off on her... ya right! but anywayz..

Well, it looks like Vaughn's prob is gonna be all cleared up or else there is no way they'd let him go on a mission. OMG I can't WAIT!!!!!!!!

Those pics are great! I haven't gone to alias media in ages! well, i think irina is fooling sloane. i think she's making him believe that she's on his side and then she'll betray him (by killing him hopefully) and return to the CIA.

I CAN"T wait for this episode. I'm counting down the days as I'm typing this. This show just keeps getting better and better. Plus, I have to mention how hot Michael Vartan looks.

I read somewhere dat it said Syd would get help from a shocking ally or suttin like that. i think Emily is gunna help her to bring down Sloane!!! i can't wait i hate that man.

I think that part of the mission that Irina was talking about when she told Sydney that it would be so dangerous was because it HAD to LOOK like she was betraying the CIA and Sydney so that Sloane would buy it. It was going to be extremely dangerous because Irina knew that Sydney would be the one to come after her and possibly try and kill her. That was why she told Sydney that she loved her - just in case Sydney succeeded. Jack knew what was going to happen - he had to lie in order to give Irina the freedom to do what was necessary to try and trap Sloane. You will notice that it is Vaughn and Dixon on the mission with Sydney and Jack is not there. I think that Irina is wounded and gets away on the helicopter. It is Emily who is on ground either killed accidentally by Sydney or even by Sloane himself. After this, Sloane wants revenge against Sydney and the CIA for the loss of his beloved Emily.
