hey guys! i haven't posted for a while b/c i'm not living at home this summer...i'm living in mclean, virginia with some cousins. that fact isn't as interesting as WHY i'm living here...it's b/c i'm working in d.c. for the summer at the international spy museum. i just figured i'd let everyone know it existed and that you can ask me about it...it really is a great cure for alias withdraw this summer. it's a great museum! Robert DeNiro was in the other day and i got to greet him and get his espresso and all that stuff. we also have a lot of ex-cia and kgb people on the board of directors and they visit a lot. anyway, if you're curious or would like more information, let me know. especailly if you live in the area! it's a great way to spend the day.

HOW COOL! i want to come but i dont live in the area maybe i could take a little road trip!that is soo cool, yeah if you have any cool facts post them! do they have a website!
and i was wondering where you were!WELCOME BACK!!

THAT IS SOOO AWESOME!!! my aunt lives like 10 minutes away from d.c and i may visit her this summer i should go if i get a chance that would be so cool going there .. .and u got to greet and serve Robert Deniro his coffee how cool!!!

wow...welcome back! and are you lucky or what??? I'd love to hear all about it....I'd never know where to start so just tell stories! lol

holly hell thats great and you dont live far from me at all!! i live in leesburg which is like 45 minutes from d.c and maybe 30 or so from mclean i think!!

haha well there are no pictures inside the museum b/c a lot of the stuff is copyrighted (sp?) by library of congress and stuff...but it's cool stuff like there's a replica of the aston martin from james bond's "goldfinger"...about 5% of the museum is dedicated to pop culture and the rest of the stuff is real-life espionage artifacts. it's an awesome place and if you're close you really should come! i'll upload the pick of myself and "bobby" deniro as everyone calls him...hm i thought about keeping that coffee cup too...anyway ex-cia masters of disguise tony and jonna mendez (read their book "spy dust" it's excellent) are giving a lecture on june 30...it should be really good if you want to come! and also oleg kalugin, ex-kgb officer, is giving a 2 part lecture in july. he's awesome...so funny...he's in the museum a lot. these people just have the most unbelievable stories to tell. if you're in the area let me know and i'll see if there are still tickets available for this stuff! i think every alias fan would enjoy the museum

Thats is the greatest car ever!
yeah and it actually puts on a show every 5 minutes...the license plate rotates, the tire things on the wheels to cut the other guys tires rotate, the bulletproof shield pops up from the back, and then for the finale...the fog lights pop down and machine guns come out and shoot. it's so good

i do mostly customer service stuff. i'm on the floor most of the time - answering questions, getting tours started, greeting guests, that kind of thing. it's just cool b/c in all my down time i get to read everything in the museum and meet a bunch of really interesting people. hopefully it doubles as networking b/c i want to work in the intelligence community one day.
