When a movie hits the box office feel free to come here once you have seen a show and let us know what you thought. We'll make a universal set up to keep information organized:

why : because of the action scenes, the brilliance of the script and the end, but I can't tell why !! (god damn it !)
 
title: Holes

rate: 4.5

why: If you have read the book, it follows it perfectly! It is really good, very entertaining, and the characters are awesome. There are split plots in about three sections (much like Two Towers was done) so if you don't do well with those you might get a little confused. Over all it was very very good.

rate: 4.5

why: It was amazing, much more than I was expecting! The SE's were awesome! The plot was executed to perfection, and it was just really really good! Go and see it.

why: almost made me felgercarb in my pants (and i STILL haven't watched the part samara comes crawling out of the tv!)... scariest movie i've ever seen. even beats the exorcist in my opinion...

Sophie im with you all the way, but im afraid your rating is WAY TO LOW for this movie, it deserves a 10, I mean that too the effects are seriously incredible. I have a topic about this movie in the movie section, take a peek.
 
I wrote loooooong movie reviews for my school paper. So here goes. I have a long list, if you don't mind. I'll start off with the Marvel movies first, Here I go.

Title: X-Men

Rating: 4

Why: Great script and way of introducing characters. Great comic adaptation too. I've seen the movie over 15 times and it still hasn't gotten boring.
The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 was because there wasn't enough action in it.

Title: X2: X-Men United

Rating: 5

Why: This movie made up for everything that the first one didn't have. Excellent. What can I say. A must see for comic book fans of X-Men and non-comic book fans of X-Men, once you see this movie, you'll be hooked on the X-Men franchise.

Title: Spider-Man

Rating: 5

Why: After not living up to my hype when I first saw it, I hated it. Not enough Spider-Man in it, too many love scenes. Everything was wrong. But when I saw it a second and a third time, when the hype was gone, I loved it. This is probably the best Marvel movie ever made.

Title: DareDevil

Rating: 3

Why: Regardless of the horrible reviews that it got, I liked it. But the only thing that still kept the movie going when it got lame was, of course, Jennifer Garner.

Title: Blade

Rating: 5

Why: All of the elements that makes a great movie, this movie rocked everything.

Title: Blade 2

Rating: 5

Why: Even better than the first, it was suspenseful, had unsuspected twists in the plot line, a good script, and last but not least, pretty good acting for a comic book adapted movie.

Title: The Punisher

Rating: 2.5

Why: This movie was made in the 80's. It's Restricted and I counted the murders in it. There were about 76 murders shown in it if I'm correct. Other than the fun of counting dead people, this movie was lame. Pass on it if you will, even die hard fans of the Punisher would be depressed about the Punisher and how good he really is after seeing this movie. (Expect another Punisher movie to be out in a year or two.)

Well, it was long, but worth it. (I hope). Lol. Next, I'll try and do DC Comics movies.

Why:Because of its action sequences,its storyline and that beautiful scene at the end.and the way the characters have become so rounded.

Why:Did you people check out that 3D imagery it was fantastic.Great storyline,wonderful characters and most definitely great action sequences.
 
The Italian Job

Why? Two reasons you should see this movie: 1) minis racing in the subway...how cool is that!
2) Lots and lots of action...with a dollop of romance thrown in on top to make it...mmmmmmmm

If you've seen any of the Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies (especially pillow talk) you should DEFINETLY see this movie. I thought it was hilarious...plus come on, Ewan in a wet white shirt AND shirtless ;)....in all seriousness, this movie, if you let it, will take you on a ride that doesn't end up where you thought it would :smiley:

Movie: Bruce Almighty
Rating: 6
Why? It seemed like all the funny parts in the movie were in the previews. There were a few, but it didn't make me laugh that much, it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.
