Sci-Fi Revolution (NBC)

Enjoyed most of the series finale, and even got fooled with the plot twist near the end (with Rachel's speech). That said, I really didn't like the last five minutes of the show. It almost seemed like they were banking on someone else picking up the series (although it wouldn't hurt my feelings if SyFy did so) and going into a third season...

Between the speech by Miles earlier & then what happens right after Rachel's speech before the twist, I was sort of expecting the series to end with a much darker note. I haven't heard any talk yet of the series being shopped around to another network so I suspect the show runners were expecting a 3rd season pickup.

I couldn't help but think the ending was essentially...
... the premise for The Stand! I mean, seriously, you ended up with the evil nano people all gathering in one town, complete with lights & technology, while the good resistors are gathering in a different town with no electricity and having no idea that a war between the two is coming.

A third season live-action series is not happening but the story will continue... online as a digital comic.

Starting May 4, one of four separate digital chapters will be rolled out every two weeks. Each of the four chapters will have a specifically designed cover, all illustrated by DC Comics artist Angel Hernandez. Fans can get a first look at the Revolution character illustrations here. Each of the four chapters will debut exclusively on www.ComicBook.com one week before they are made available on Revolution's Facebook page.
