Right Shoulder

On sundays episode "Truth takes time" I noticed that Sydney shot her mom in the right shoulder. In the very first episode of this season, Irina shot Sydney in the right shoulder. I don't know if there is some connection but I thought there might be.

syd was shot a little under the shoulder not arm it is just like payback for her mom shouting her

Actually, Syd and Irina were both shot in the LEFT shoulder/arm:

also, Sark shot Vaughan on the left side of his chest (I can't remember how close to the arm/shoulder it was)...definetly many connections!

Well, one who was aiming for the heart would aim for the left side of the body. Maybe no one had an intention to kill, yet muscle memory might dictate aiming slightly left.

I dunno.

I think they just wanted the irony of both of them shooting each other in the same spot...now they're kind of even in a way...

I think you guys are just reading too much into it. Like Jonathan said, they were more than likely aiming to kill (minus Irina shooting Syd, but she needed to make it seem like she shot Syd in the heart), therefore they would be aiming toward the left side

Oh my gosh that is so cool! I would have never thought about that if you hadn't of pointed it out.

And if you remember what Irena said in like the second ep
"I was giving you time to escape" because deep down she didn't want to kill her daughter, and Syd didn't want to kill her mother neither. Hey I wouldn't be able to kill my mom even if she was evil. Gosh so much irony.

I really like that Twinzz2003...Irony shot her there because she didn't want to kill her, and Sydney shot her in the same spot maybe subconciously displaying that she doesnt want to kill her mother.

And Tommy...who cares if we're reading too much into it...It's fun to discuss and think about...hey we got nothin better to do
