Running away

hey guys! here is the next chapter for you! love love this one! please review! thanks...

Chapter four-

“Leave? Now?” Vaughn said in surprise.
“Yeah, I want to get out of here.”
“What? I mean, Sydney, you don’t know what your saying!” he said.
“Yes I do! I love every second I spend with you, I want every day to be like this.”
“Well, Sydney, can’t we weight a little wile. You know, so we can tell everyone, so you can finish your paperwork at work.”
“I thought you wanted to go with me.”
“I do, oh, my god, I would fallow you to the end of the world but, can’t we weight until next month or something, that way, your paperwork can be finished and we can buy a house. If we leave now we won’t have anywhere to go.”
“Oh my god! I’m so stupid! I’m so sorry Michael!” she walked over to him and hugged him. “I don’t know what came over me; I just wanted it to be real.”
“I know baby.” He said stroking her hair and rubbing her back.
“You know, you don’t have to come if you don’t want to.” She said looking into his eyes.
“Sydney, I would have gone even if last night never happened but now, the reason why I’m going isn’t only to protect you and to keep you company, it’s to be with you and to love you.”
She looked at him and smiled. They kissed.

The next couple of weeks were quite a blur to Sydney and Michael. Sydney told her dad the plans and he took it surprisingly well, Vaughn wasn’t even touched, yet a very expensive vase has been shattered beyond repair.
Vaughn and Sydney both resigned from the CIA with difficulty, but eventually they managed to convince Kendall it was the best course of action. He is probably still convinced that they are simply talking a well disserved rest from the CIA and will be back in a couple of months.
Sydney told Francie and Will what she had actually been doing for all those years and they understood. When she told them she was moving to France, Francie stated to cry and Will looked horrified.
“Don’t worry” she told them. “We’ll keep in touch.”
Sydney moved in with Vaughn shortly after they had resigned, it was easier that way. They would see each other all day anyways, and it was easier to have each other to lean on. They found a house surprisingly quickly. It was in the same town Michael grew up in, Normandy, France, just like they wanted. Everything was going pretty much to plan.
A month after The Night, the phone rang at Vaughn’s house.
“Michael the phone’s ringing.” shouted Sydney to Michael who was in shower.
“Pick it up, you live here too, remember?” he shouted back. Sydney smiled, and then picked up the phone.
“Hello?” she said.
“Hello is this Sydney?” said a voice that sounded like it had just sucked on helium.
“Yes… who are you?” she said a little unnerved.
“Never mind.” Said the voice. “Why haven’t you left yet?”
“What? Who are you?” she asked.
“Just answer the damn question!” the voice said.
“I… I will, soon.” She stumbled over her words. Just then Vaughn came out of the shower with a towel around his waist.
“Who is it?” he mouthed to Sydney. Sydney looked at him with frightened eyes. He walked over to her and listened in on the conversation.
“Where are you going to go?” said the voice.
“Why?” said Sydney.
“You better answer my question fast lady. There was a sound of something ripe then a small squeal.
“Help, Help!” she heard from the back ground. It was the voice of Francie.
“Oh my god! Let her go! I’m leaving! I’m leaving!” Sydney screamed.
“Did you quite the CIA?”
“Yes.” She said “Let her go!”
“Ok, good. Bye, bye now.” Said the voice, there was a scream then a gun shot, the line went dead. Sydney turned and looked at Vaughn with tears streaming down her face.

ok, here's the next chapter, sorry it's kinds short.

Chapter five-

“Francie…” she trailed off.
“Can we trace the call? You think?” he asked, but obviously, it was a bad time. “I’ll call Marchell, he’ll be right over.”
“We can’t do that, he doesn’t work with us anymore.” She said wiping her tears.
“He’ll do it if he is our friend.” Vaughn took out his cell phone, dialed a number and placed it agents his ear. Wile it was ringing he pulled Sydney into a hug to comfort her. “Hello? Is Marchell there?” there was a pause. “thanks.” An other pause… “Hey… yeah, nice to hear from you too… yeah, she’s with me but… she’s fine but... MARCHELL!” Sydney jumped then Micheal rubbed her back. “Listen, it’s important! Can you get over here now?... yeah like now, now! ... we can explain when you get here… thanks bud, I owe you one!” he hung up the phone. “Syd, we’ll find her, don’t worry.” He kissed her head gently and slowly rocked her back and forth.

*** Half an hour later, Marchell has arrived ***

“I think I can trase the call.” Marchell said.
“Good, how long do you think it will take?” asked Vaughn
“Not long. So, how long have you guys been going out, I only found out when you resigned, or a little before that, you know, for agents, your not really good at keeping secrets.”
“Yeah, yeah, just trace the call please, this is urgent.”
“Sorry.” Marchell went back to his work but five minutes later… “So Sydney, it’s been a wile huh?” Sydney just looked at him and that was enough, he shut up and didn’t say anything else until his job was finished. “All done, there was an average cell phone used, who ever used it was on Marcum Street. Huh…” he said
“What?” said Vaughn as he headed for the door and put on his coat passing Marchell his and Sydney hers.
“Nothing, well it’s just that my cousin lived on Marcum Street, nice guy. He’s got three kids.”
“Marchell, we got to go.”
“Oh yeah. Of course. Got to leave, on a ‘secret mission’ right?”
“Shut up!” they both said in a rush.
