oh its just something that makes me really sad, like at school we say the pledge every morning and I'm one of 5 out of 31 people in the class that actually stand up. And I don't understand, without that flag you'd be speaking german or with a british accent (not that that's bad)...but if you hate it so much why live here??...and what about the people who have given up their lives for the flag...a lot of our teachers are war veterans in my school and i can't imagin how much it pains them to see people being so disrespectful like that...I just want to say that if you dont say the pledge, at least stand up...you dont need to say it, just stand up...becuase you never know who is watching...i.e. someone who lost a family member in the war, someones dad who is a war veteran, someone who has someone over in Irag right now...it's just showing respect for the people that the flag has meaning to them...more meaning than your disagreement of the one line "under god"...its all about respect...
