sex and the city

Padme, I was looking for that song too! Sorry I can't help ya find it... grrr. Lol. Anyhoo, I just dropped in to ask everybody this: Do you think it was good that TBS took sex and the city? I think it's way too edited, and if you're gonna watch the show, you gotta rent or buy the dvds. Totally worth it.

ps, look at my sig! I wrote a sex and the city stroy! lol :shameless plugs:

Although I'm happy that Carrie ended up with Big. I wonder what would have happened if Aidan had given her time after propsoing to her. I loved Aidan!

I'm watching season 6 right now and it's making me miss the girls soooo much!!!

And I was definitely an Aidan girl. I still cry in the epi that they broke up :(

As much as I loved Aidan, he was too insecure. Same with Berger. Big was always the guy for Carrie imo. But Smith was the hottest guy on the show EVER. I don't think the boyfriends were the point of the show, though; it was the friendship between four hilarious women. It's true what Big said to Miranda, Char, and Sam in the second to last ep about Carrie, "You three are the loves of her life. Any guy is lucky to come in fourth."

Of course it wasn't just about their men, but their relationships with them were very important to the show. I don't think Aidan was insecure like Berger. He was very old-fashioned and was very rigid when it came to his morals and values. He wasn't willing to bend and needed a woman who was the same way. Carrie, obivously wasn't that woman.

I guess I'm one of the few, who didn't find Smith attract. His eyes seemed too...mean, at least to me.

I never liked the Russian. He just seemed too cold and unnatural for Carrie.

Although the show constantly projected the message that women didn't always need a man to be happy (they've got their friends). I found it to be a bit contradicting that they were all paired off at the end of the series.
