So, why can't Syd date Will for a while, break up amicably, maintain their friendship, then hook up w/Vaughn, who she's truly meant to be with? Perfect!

um, it wouldn't work, because will is totally in love with her, and he probably wants more than she's willing to give. i mean, they're such good friends, that "going out" would ruin the relationship. also, will is someone that syd can talk to openly ( or semi-openly) now, and the post-dating akwardness would make her want to comfide in will less... it's all a vicious cycle. i dunno if i want her to "go out" with michael because it would also kinda ruin the relationship, but, they do see that they're physically attracted to each other, and that they like to be in each other's company. i don't know. i voted for VAUGHN ALL THE WAY, but maybe just as a super major and bestest friend for now, with all the sexual tension in between. vaughn is going to break up with alice soon, i know it. and it's all because of syd...

I completely agree !!! In the first season I HATED Will because of the love triangle thing ! Now he's ok - at least he's accepted that she likes Vaughn way better ! Vaughn all the way !!! He is ten times hotter and cooler than Will !
