I think it would almost be more interesting if Sydney was related to Rambaldi. That would explain how she's (sort of) turning up in the prophecy, and would also explain why Sloane hasn't killed her all these times he's been given the chance. He needs her, and so lets her do what she wants.

ooo, it would...But Sloane being related might help explain his obsession more. Plus, I think Rambaldi would've been able to 'see' that the women was realted to him. I still think that'd be cool though.

And maybe Rambaldi knew that Sydney was related to him, and assuming that he was in fact the clock maker she went to, that's why he saved her, to allow his bloodline to continue.

I have thought of this before because of his close connection and all. I thik rambaldi is a lvie and I cant wait if he is when he comes on the show. That would be cool. I think sloane will find rambaldi or maybe his soul will be taken ove rby rambaldi. No that would be cool but not likely
