For a little over a month now, a rumor has been floating around about and episode named, "A Family Visit." We've been hesitant to post this episode spoiler because we haven't been able to confirm it as of yet. So there's the warning!! This may be false information. But we wanted to make you aware anyway.

The guest cast for this ep includes a 14-year old actress named Maria Hatzis as "Delia Vaughn" and Will and Grace's Debra Messing as "Katherine Vaughn." We DO NOT know yet for sure in what way they are related to our Vaughn.

Yes, feedback: I for one, am sure it is not his ex-wife and kid. I don't have much of a speculation on it, but if I had to say something, I guess his sister and neice. I dunno. I wonder if it'll be in one of season two episodes, or if it will really happen at all.

In the interest of laying this whole "A Family Visit" stuff from IMDB to rest, I decided to do a little investigating this afternoon. I contacted Debra Messing's agent, as well as the "contact" for Maria Hatzis. I got two different stories, however I'm a little more inclined (read WAY MORE INCLINED) to believe an agent from a big name agency than a "contact" who mispells Beverly Hills in his contact information. A contact who says he runs an agency that, suspiciously, isn't listed in the yellow pages or anywhere on the Internet. So, um, here's what I found out...

I was told by the Maria Hatzis contact that, yes, Maria has played the role of 10-year-old Delia Vaughn. Delia is a relative of Agent Vaughn's. He told me that he wouldn't "spoil" what kind of relative she is, but that he hoped the audience would be shocked. Yeah. I think he was implying that she's Vaughn's kiddo. The episode is indeed entitled "A Family Visit" and is supposed to air in December of 2003.

That oinking noise you hear? It's pigs flying. The only reason I put that in spoiler space is just in case some people might still believe this and consider it a spoiler. Whatever.

Then, on my way home this evening, Debra Messing's agent called me back. Actually, it was the agent's assistant, but that's not the point. Here is a paraphrased version of what he told me. I would have completely transcribed the whole thing but I-20 during rush hour is a b****--especially when you're maneuvering a sardine can around semis... "No, Debra is not going to be on Alias. It would be loads of fun,
but as of right now she has not been, is not on, and is not scheduled to be on an episode of Alias."
 
VAUGHN BETTER NOT HAVE A KID! WHO WOULD HE HAVE A KID WITH!! I WOULD THINK HE WOULD HAVE MENTIONED HER! UNLESS HE DIDN'T KNOW HIS EX WAS PREGNANT! AHHH OMG I'M HAVING NIGHTMARES! THATS A HORRIBLE THOUGHT
 
It didn't say he had an ex-wife, and the guy said he was HOPING the audience would be surprised. Doesn't mean nothing yet, so don't get so worked up!!
 
:eek: Whoa! I certainly HOPE it's not his kid. It could be I guess, but I hope not. Well, but then again, it would be interesting I guess. But thank goodness Debra Messing isn't going to be on. I mean, I love her, but I just can't see her being in Alias.
 
Yeah, I mean, the whole ep I'd be expecting her to trip or something. I loved her in the Mothman Prophecies, but she wasn't in it that long.

But hey, if that girl IS Vaughn's kid, maybe that'll set up the fight with Sydney that MV was talking about. I mean, that's a HUGE secret that has been the two of them.
 
lol, I know, it's terrible when you never rule out anything. It makes you go over things to the point where you don't even remember what actually happened. ;)
 
none of it sounds true. and i'm going to go with not true at all, in any way. but that's possible because emetib said that they were hesitant to post it because they couldn't get confirmation on it. it just all sounds way too unlikely. especially that Vaughn would have a kid. and the posters here sound pretty unanamous that it would be terrible if debra messing was on ALIAS. she's just not ALIAS material. although they did just have Richard Lewis on, and i never in a million years would have thought.... but anyways, people seem to have pretty good confirmation that debra messing will not be on ALIAS so what i just said doesn't matter at all. i'm losing my mind. good night.
 
I can't see Delia being his sister, she's so young, major age difference, and if Vaughn's dad died when he was eight, then...yeah, his mom got with someone. His mom is kinda old to have a 14 year old, dontcha think? So I doubt it's his sister.
 
It could be his sister, you never know, I mean, my oldest brother and I have a 16 year difference between us.

But I actually heard that this whole episode actually doesn't exist. Did anyone else read that?
 
OMG this sooo can't be true! i don't think so cuz vaughn seems a lot more kind and caring to never tell syd or anything. o and maybe he doesn't cuz syd is always in files on the computer so wouldn't she know about vaughn and have seen his files and stuff? Justa thought. Ok so as my name says im 14 and I WANT TO BE VAUGHNS KID AND BE ON ALIAS!!!!!!!!!! this is sooo not fair i want to be on it soo badddddd!!!!that dumb gurl!!!! i bet i can be a better dalia or whatever her name is!!!!! no fair!!!!! im sooo jealous!!! :banghead: :jawdrop: :lame: :angry2: :angry2: i am sooooo mad! this is not helping!!!!

I suppose so, but I just find that a little weird, and we've never once heard Vaughn talk about a step father....

And no, I hadn't heard that. That'd suck if it didn't though.
