Hmmm I think shall be a fun one. Since I got the main idea from my pepper sprayed friend.
Sydney walked down the paved side walk that led to her mail box.
In her white sweater and jogging pants, she Lifted the little red flag and put her mail inside.
The crisp fall air tingled her nose with the smell of cider and cookies which were baking inside.
She walked back up and patted her cat on the head before opening her staind glass door.
"Mom!!!!" Shouted a tiny voice from the kitchen.
"What is it dear?" She replied back.
"I think the cookies are done." Said the little voice as the best she could.
"I'll be right there." Sydney put her gloves on thecherry wood stand that stood by the door.
It has been three years since the last time she saw Michael.
The memories pained her so. To think of the day Isabelle was born. The day they said their vows.
The day he disapeared.
It seemed like yesterday when Vaughn slowly faded in the fog of the room. The fog that magically carried her out,but left him there. Somewhere.
It has been 3 years since he disapeared.
Michael had put a down pay ment on the nicely built victorian house that her and Isabelle now lived on.
It has taken all of sydney's hard work at the agency to pay for the rest of the house.
"Mom! I think the cookies are burning!" Said Isabelles as she laughed at the smell.
"I'll be right there honey."
Sydney walked over to the picture of the day Isabelle was born.
She rubbed her thumb across Michaels Warm smiling face.
She frowned then smiled as she walked to the kitchen.
