Okay some of you wanted me to keep going with this story so here it goes.

Chapter 2

The next morning Vaughn woke up to find Syd still sleeping on top of him. The ice pack that once covered Sydney’s browsed hand now lay on the floor. Vaughn kissed the top of her head, she started to wake up. She looked around the room before looking up at Vaughn.
“Hey.” She said smiling.
“Hi, how did you sleep?” he said laughing a little. She then noticed that she was on top of him.
“That’s the best sleep I’ve had since…” she stopped her self, realizing what she was about to say. “For along time.” She saw Vaughn look at with that sympathetic look on his face. Not wanting to hear his apologizes she got off from on top of him.
“So what’s for breakfast?” she asked
“Well, I don’t really cook a lot so I don’t have much. But I was thinking we could go out to eat.” He said now sitting up on the couch, he picked up the now warm ice pack and set it on the glass coffee table. He got up and walked over to where Sydney was.
“How’s your hand?” he asked as he took her sore hand in his own.
“It’s still sore but it’s nothing I can’t handle.” She said. He kissed her hand. She smiled and pulled him down towards her and kissed his sweet lips. Then their pagers beeped. It was Kendall.
“Damn, I’m still hungry.” She said
“So, we’ll stop and get something on the way, that’s why they have a drive-threw.” Vaughn said laughing
“I guess.” She said as they got ready and walked out the door. They drove to a McDonalds, got their food, and went to the operations center. They sat in the car and finished their so called “meal” then walked inside. Wiess greeted them.
“Hey, how do you feel?” Weiss asked
“Better” Syd said
“You know you could be in the next Charlie’s Angel’s.” Weiss said laughing
“Shut up.” She said
“No really, I mean you can kick any guys ass and you’re hot.” Weiss said smiling
“Okay that’s enough.” Vaughn said as he took Syd’s arm, they walked a little faster trying to lose Weiss.
“Hey wait up!” he said as he ran to catch up with Syd and Vaughn. They walked into the meeting room. Jack, Kendall, Will, Marshall and a few other agents were sitting in the room. Vaughn, Sydney and Weiss sat down.
“We have found out who the second clone is.” Kendall said. This caught everyone’s attention.
“Who is it?” Syd asked. Later she would regret asking that.
“Francie Calfo.” Kendall said. Sydney immediately had a confused and hurt look on her face.
“What?” Syd said in shock.
“We found out yesterday, we picked up a conversation she had with sloane.” Kendall said.
Vaughn looked at Sydney who now had tears in her eyes.
“Excuse us.” Vaughn said as he took Sydney’s arm and led her into another room.
“All this time, I never even thought twice about her. She was acting weird too, but I thought it was because of her and Will.” Sydney rested her head on Vaughn’s shoulder and balled her eyes out. Vaughn could do nothing but hold her and reassure her that everything would be okay. Jack walked in and saw Sydney crying. Vaughn handed her to Jack, Sydney then threw her arms around her father, looking for more comfort. Vaughn walked back to the meeting room and sat back down.
“Is the real Francie still alive?” Vaughn asked even though he knew the answer.
“No, we found her dead in her restaurant.” Kendall said.
“What about the clone?” Vaughn asked
“She’s gone, probably with Sloane.” Kendall said. Vaughn walked back out of the room. He walked over to Jack.
“Where’s Sydney?” he asked
“She’s in the bathroom.” Jack said
“Francie, the real Francie is dead, they found her in her restaurant.” Vaughn said
Jack shook his head in disbelief of what was happening. Jack walked away to talk to Kendall. Vaughn walked to the women’s bathroom and waited outside for Sydney to come out. He could hear her crying.
“Syd?” he knocked on the door. “Are you okay?” The crying stopped and she walked out of the bathroom.
“You want to go for a walk?” he asked putting an arm on her shoulder. She shook her head yes. They walked out of the CIA and drove to a park that was 15 minutes away. They got out and walked along the paved sidewalks. At first Sydney was in deep thought, Then she asked Vaughn the question that he didn’t want to answer.
“Is Francie dead?” she asked. Vaughn couldn’t look her in the eye. “Vaughn I need to know.” She said
He knew she had the right to know the truth. “Yes.” He said. She squeezed his hand tighter and tears began to fall from her eyes once again. Vaughn stopped her and turned her so she was facing him. He wiped her tears from her eyes. She put her hands on his arms as he was still holding her face, he kissed her lightly on the forehead and pulled her into his embrace. He decide it was time to tell her what he had been waiting to tell her for so long.
“I love you.” He whispered in her ear. He knew that she was going through a ruff time and that maybe those words would ease the pain. That they did. She lifted her head off of his shoulder, she was still crying but she had a slight smile on her face. It made Vaughn feel good, good in the way that he had brought her comfort in this time of sadness, at a time where she wasn’t certain about anything and where she trusted no one but him.
“I love you too.” She said as she looked into his comforting eyes. They started to walk again, she held on to his right arm as they walked back towards the car.

More later! Anyway give me some ideas, maybe I will use some of them. :D

AAAWWWWW THAT WAS SOOOOO SWEET!!! LOL I'm writing that on everyones. I'm in a very sappy mood today, die-hard-romantic-that-lacks-a-love-life that I am.

I will hopefully have more tonight. I'm working on "Heartbreak" and "Sydney's Protector" so look for more tonight. God Bless! :D

They were going to go Vaughn’s apartment when Sydney remembered something.
“Oh my God, I forgot about Will. How is he handling this?” Syd said
“He didn’t too bad, he knew before you did.” Vaughn said as he grabbed Syd’s hand.
“Can we stop at my house? I just want to make sure he is okay.” Syd said
“Of course.” Vaughn said as he turned a corner now heading for Syd’s house. When they arrived, Will’s car was in the driveway. They got out of the car and walked inside. There sitting on the couch in front of them was Will. He turned to see Syd and Vaughn. Syd went and sat down next to him.
“I’m so sorry.” She said as she rubbed his back. Will’s eyes were teary.
“So this is what it’s like.” Will said
“What?” Syd asked confused a little
“Too lose someone you love.” Will said. Syd pulled Will into her embrace. She had never seen him like this before. Vaughn couldn’t do anything but stand and watch. He knew it was hard for them. Too lose someone you love is the hardest thing on earth. The pain doesn’t go away, the memories stick in your mind. Vaughn wasn’t jealous that Syd and Will were hugging. After all they were just friends. While Syd and Will were comforting each other Vaughn took a shower. When he came out he found Syd lying on her bed crying into her pillow. He went and laid down next to her. It was only 5:00 in the afternoon, too soon to go to bed.
“Syd, you okay.” Vaughn asked
“I can’t believe this is happening. I wish I would have never become a spy.” She said
“That way Francie wouldn’t die, Danny would still be alive, will would have his life back.” She realized what she had just said.
“But then I would have never meet you.” She said turning her head so she was now looking him straight in the eyes. “You are the only good thing that has happened to me through all of this. You’ve been the only person there for me the whole time. I’ve never done anything for you, you have almost died because of me, you almost lost your job.” She stopped and looked back at the pillow in front of her. “You were still there for me even when you found out about my mother killing your father.” Vaughn looked away from her eyes, then looked back at her.
“Syd, none of those things were your fault. You were the one who saved me when I was sick, remember?” he said
“Yeah, but I was the one who got you into that mess.” She said
“No you weren’t, I volunteered to go, you didn’t make me.” Vaughn said “The truth is you’re the best thing that happen to me too.” He said now smiling at her a little. She moved closer to him and he took her into his embrace. They laid there until they both fell asleep.
(A couple days later, Francie’s funeral)

There weren’t a lot of people there, her close friends, her family, some other people syd didn’t recognize. Syd was dressed in the black dress she had worn to Danny’s funeral, Vaughn, who was standing next to her, held her hand the whole time. They listened to the priest as he gave his speech. Vaughn watched as Sydney tried to hold back her tears, he knew she was trying to be strong. After the priest was done Sydney stepped forward to speak.
“Francie was a wonderful friend. She was fun to be around, she would cheer you up, and she had so much spirit. When we were at our freshman orientation in college Francie was assigned as my partner. I didn’t have many friends and she was so intimidating. But as I got to know her, I started to tell her things that I would tell no one else.” She looked at Vaughn. “I’m glad I knew Francie, and I wish everyone could have known her because she was just a great person. She was like my sister and I will truly miss her.” Sydney walked back over to where Vaughn was standing. Vaughn put his arm around her trying to comfort her. Everyone said their last good-byes and walked away. Sydney still stood there with Vaughn. She turned to him.
“Can you give me a minute.” She said
“Sure.” He said as he kissed her forehead. She watched him walk away. She walked over to the coffin.
“I’m so sorry, I never wanted this to happen.” She said as tears fell from her eyes onto the coffin. “I promise you I will find the people who did this. I love you.” she said. She got up and walked toward Will who was leaning against a car talking to Vaughn. She went up and hugged Will.
“I’m so sorry.” She said. He pulled away
“It wasn’t your fault.” He said. She backed away and searched for Vaughn’s hand.
“We’ll see you back at work.” She said as they walked to Vaughn’s car. Vaughn drove back to the operation center. They walked into the meeting room Will was already there.
“Intel we picked up shows that Sloane is after a new Rambaldi device. It’s being kept in a museum in Spain. Bristow, Vaughn, Weiss, And Dixon, you four will be sent in to get it before Sloane. You leave in two hours.” Kendall said as he collected his papers and left the room.
(SPAIN)
Sydney and Vaughn walked threw the back alley and came to a locked door. Sydney started to pick the lock.
“You have two security guards coming around the corner.” Dixon said through his comm. Sydney was franticly picking the lock, but there was no time. Vaughn grabbed Sydney, pushed her against the wall and kissed her, trying to look like they were just making out. The two guards walked around the corner and walked towards Syd and Vaughn. The guards laughed and shook their heads.
“Young lovers.” One of them said. The guards didn’t even say anything to them, they just walked right past. When they were finally gone Sydney and Vaughn broke apart.
“Sorry.” Vaughn said
“Don’t be.” Syd said smiling. She started to pick at the lock again. She finally got in and walked into the storage room. They opened all of the boxes and finally found the artifact. They started to walk toward the door.
“That was too easy.” Vaughn said
“Yes, it was.” A voice said from the corner. Vaughn and Syd turned to see a gun pointed at them.

(More later! God Bless America!) :D

The person walked out of the corner. Sydney had anger in her eyes when she saw Francie’s double.
“You b*t*h.” Syd said
“Oh that hurts.” She said as she shot Syd in the leg.
“NO!” Vaughn screamed. He kneeled down next to Syd and covered her wound which had blood running all over the place.
“I decided not to kill you Sydney, because then I wouldn’t have any fun, so Mr. Vaughn its your turn.” Francie’s double said. She raised her gun, a shot rang out. Sydney looked at Vaughn who she thought was hit but instead Francie’s double fell to the floor.
“Come on!” Weiss screamed. Vaughn picked up Sydney and ran to the van that was parked around the corner.
(CIA hospital)
Sydney walked out of the hospital room and went up to Vaughn who was signing her out.
“Hey” Syd said
“Hey, how your leg?” Vaughn asked
“Well I can walk.” She said
“Okay well let’s get out of here.” Vaughn said as he helped Syd out of the building. They drove to Sydney’s house and went to sleep.
(A few days later)
Sydney woke up only to find Vaughn sitting beside her watching her.
He smiled “I made you breakfast.” She looked at him a little confused
“You did?” she said
“Yeah, what I can’t make you breakfast?” he said smiling
“I didn’t say that, I’m just, surprised.” She said giving him a loving glance. She took a bit and tried to keep it down. Vaughn wasn’t the best cook, but she didn’t want to make him feel bad.
“Okay, you can spit it out.” He said laughing
“No, it’s fine.” She said
“Syd, by now I know the look in your eyes, I know it’ bad.” Vaughn said. She smiled and spit it into a napkin.
“It’s the thought that counts.” She said as she kissed him “Thanks.”
“What’s wrong?” She asked
“What do you mean?” he asked
“What are you playing with in your pocket?” She asked giggling
“Nothing.” He instantly removed his hand from his pocket.
“Right.” She said kind of suspicious.
“Hey, do you want to go for a walk?” he asked
“Sure, let me get ready.” She said. She got out of bed and headed for the shower. While she was in the shower Vaughn walked into the kitchen where Will was sitting.
“Hey,” Vaughn said as he sat down across from Will.
“Hi,” Will said
“How are you doing?” Vaughn asked
“Not good.” Will said
“Hey, if you need to talk I’m here, I know what its like too lose someone.” Vaughn said.
“Really, thanks man, I mean I do need to talk to someone. I thought about going to see Barnett.”
“No, don’t do that. Believe me the last person you want to talk to is her.” Vaughn said laughing a little.
“Why?” Will asked confused
“Just believe me don’t talk to her.” Vaughn said
“I just don’t want to put this on Sydney’s shoulders.” Will said. Sydney came out of her room dressed in a white tank top and some khaki pants.
“Hey Will.” Syd said
“Hey.” Will said
“You ready?” Vaughn said
“Yeah, Will were just going for a walk.” Syd said as they headed for the door.
“Okay.” Will said as he continued to eat his cereal. Syd and Vaughn walked through the park it was a clear and sunny day. There were lots of people having picnics and playing Frisbee. They walked onto a bridge that had a little stream running under it. Vaughn stopped in the middle of the bridge, Syd turned to look at him.
“What’s wrong?” Syd asked. Vaughn just smiled at her.
“What?” She said laughing a little.
He walked closer to her and took both of her hands
“Sydney, the first time I saw you I fell in love with you. You’re the one good thing that has happened to me since I have been working for the CIA. It has taken so long for me to tell you how I feel about you. You have gone through so much by yourself. But I promise you that you will never have to go through anything else alone again, because I’m here, and I always will be.” Vaughn took a velvet box out of his pocket.
“This is what I have been playing with the whole day.” Vaughn said looking into Sydney’s teared up eyes. He got down on one knee and looked up at Sydney. Everyone was starring at them and smiling.
“Sydney Bristow, Will you marry me?” Vaughn said. Sydney was so taken aback. She smiled.
“Yes, Yes I will marry you Vaughn.” She said with tears now streaming down her face. He slipped the ring on her finger and stood up. She put her hands on his face and kissed him. The people around them clapped. Sydney and Vaughn paid no attention they just kept kissing. They finally broke apart.
“What about Kendall and the CIA?” Syd asked
“What about ‘em.” Vaughn said.
“Vaughn I don’t want to keep this a secret.” Syd said
“Fine we’ll tell them, they can’t tell us we can’t get married.” He said smiling. He pulled her into his embrace and they walked back to her house.

more later God Bless! :D
