Hey guys! I guess I'm bringing this thread back to life! ^_^
I am a huge Tamora Pierce fan! Her Alanna series (was it called "Lioness Rampant" or something like that?) really hooked me...
I'm currently reading (or rather finishing) her "Protector of the Small" series. I really wish she received more recognition for her works. The Alanna series would make such a great movie...

::ponders:: Who do you guys think would make a good Alanna?

I've read the Immortal Series (with Daine and Numair). I have yet to read any of her other works...been meaning to for a couple of years, just haven't gotten around to it yet...

shes one of my favorite authors!!! i prefer her daine, alanna and kel series to the circle of magic and the circle opens but all of her books are really good. the best series were the daine and alanna (although i thought she should have ended up w/ jonathan in the end)

i've read most of her books. i definately like the older books (allana, immortals) better than the newer ones, but she's a great author. i've read the allana series about a thousand times

Miranda Otto would be too old if the movie started at the beginning but she would be awesome in the last two books. besides she already has some sword training under her belt from LOTR.
My two favorite Pierce Series are Alanna and the protector of the small. I liked the school for future kights, it was well developed.
