Umm i started this topic cuz right now im watching it and 2 great players r playing and it went on for 3 long sets, over 3hrs, but my fav player won :smiley: okay yall probably find this sport boring but i like watching it
 
u do? well that's just like a small amount of ppl, like umm 2 *sighs* i expected as much, but hey, like i say, that's just the way it blows
 
I love tennis too. I have played since I was like 5. It's really cool to see people play in person. I've been to the Nasdac Open in Miami a few times and I went to Rolin Garos in Paris when Agassi won.
 
I like tennis, but unfortunately i am so bad in it :blush: :blush2: I do it just in weekends with my friends and allways i can i see tennis in tv.
Martina Hingis is my favorite player since 2000, she is great :love: but now she decided to quit the Tennis Circuit, i `m sad :( :confused: :blush: (n)
 
I love tennis! I used to belong to a racquet club and all that. I took indoor lessons in the winter, and outdoor lessons (twice a week) in the summers. When I was in San Diego, I took a week of lessons with a pro. Of course, I lost interest. I started again towards the end of high school, and I was surprised at how much my serve had improved. I used to barely be able to get it over the net, now I have a hard time keeping it in bounds! My boyfriend is taking tennis class starting next week... and he's never played tennis before, so he's a little nervous! But since he's learning, I get to drag him to the courts this summer! :D
 
I play with a tennis racket in my backyard and hit a tennis ball against the side of my house back and forth without it falling to the ground. My record is over 200 times! I have fun out of it while making it into a world tournament and I pretend I represent all of the other countries too. I always win as Canada though. It keeps me busy, that's for sure. Also, go Mario Tennis!
 
o i like to actually play against myself by hitting it against a wall (how many times can u bounce it straight up though-i have done it around 150 before)
 
I am thinking about joining the tennis team in school next fall. think I should?

Yeah, totally! One of my roommates last year (the nice one) was on her tennis team in HS, and she said it was a lot of fun. I regret not joining at my HS... but maybe not. I didn't get along with a lot of the girls I knew were on the team, they were such snobs (as was most of my HS).

I think I will join. I also know what you mean by all the girls being snobs, it seems like they are everywhere at my HS.

i group these girls together in a sort of club that i created : i'll tell you in french b/c it's ... "le club des pétasses", ok, i tell you in english : sluts club !
what do you think of this ?!
