Well, in looking through the list of nominees -- and focusing on the Long Form and Short Form categories (really, they don't separate movies and TV? That seems a bit unfair)... I end up a bit perplexed as to how they came up with the nominees, let alone how and why they selected the winners. Heroes Season 1 gets nominated, but not the full season of Battlestar Gallactica? The Golden Compass gets a nod over I Am Legend? And why have Enchanted there at all? Under what possible definition can you say that Enchanted is a true sci-fi/fantasy film?

I can agree with Stardust winning, although fans of the book are sure to protest. And I'm not a big Doctor Who fan, but I think that BG and perhaps Heroes or Stargate:Atlantis shouldn't have been given such short thrift.

(And actually, I would have liked to have seen Star Trek New Voyages win, just to reward this kind of dedication and effort.)
