lots of people are saying they dont think Irina would cheat on Jack with Sloan. Believe it or not, i am MORE surprised by the idea that Sloan would cheat on Emily! Say what you want about the man, but you can hardly say that he is not truely in love with her. he was willing to give up his 30 year obsession with Rambaldi for her!

Sloane is evil. Not evil incarnate.
His loyalty to Emily makes him human and all the more believable as a villain. "Multi-faceted" is definitely the right word.
This whole 30 years thing could really be connected to Sydney (Remember: Irina said to Sydney "I have waited almost thirty years for this..." and then there's this sin committed 30 years ago.)
If JJ wants Sloane's to be Syd's dad, I'd prefer it to be becoz Irina and Sloane conceived this idea of bringing forth the prophecy child through artificial means(which to me seems more probable than just being unfaithful).
But I sure hope JJ's not gonna go there.

sorry but i really doubt it. remember, 30 years ago in Tibet when Sloan first began his Rambaldi obsession he didnt know much about the prophesy, he just received the full (or more full) prophesy in Countdown. so i really doubt Sloan or Irina had the forsight to know Syd is the prophesy child.
