Most people have experience of driving a car on the road, or offroad, but the forces and experience of Formula One is always difficult to imagine. With the removal of traction control this racing year it has been said the average heartbeat of the drivers has gone up by ten. The braking forces alone are 5G's, the overall driving like being on a rollercoaster YOU control!

I would still have to try it... at least once.

Was the traction control removal voluntary or circuit wide?

It got a bit boring for the fans, so the F1WGP board removed the traction control. No more emphasis is on the drivers skill than computerised 'slot car racing'
