(sadly i am reading this book again......my third time and some parts fourth or fifth.....lol!)
but i love when the fire ants come, rachel's one line
"they left me. And my mirror, strewn all around, reflecting moonlight in crazy shapes. Just left me flat, in the middle of all that bad luck and broken sky."

i dont know why i just love that line!

isnt it amazing?!?! i loved and i loved how she wrote the last book of it, just amazing i was crying yet cheering yet sadden by everything! great book and i still think of how their lives are now, where rachel is? how leah's children are doing? ooo i love this book!

that is really like one of the greatest books. rachel is such... uhh... well rachel. my favorite part(of rachel demonstrating her rachelness) is where they have the reunion and leah was telling them about pascal and rachel goes "oh, pascal your son." and adah informs her she's an imbecile. it was just the funniest thing to me....

isnt it really good! i read like two years ago and i wanted to read pigs in heaven(the sequel) and i forget alot so i wanted to read it again! i love turtle and how she tries to hold on to everything she gets her hands on(i think symbolic, something we should all do, fight for something that we believe in?!)

and bridget, i do not think your bad, but if you keep running in and out of this thread(even with one eye closed!) i think you might ruin it but WE WILL NOT TALK ABOUT IT TILL YOU FINISH READING IT! so come on in, with both eyes open! hehe!

yeah turtle is just the sweetest child it seems. yeah actually the way you put it fight for what you believe in sounds right. kingsolver is a really at creating the characters.
