The Vaughn Is Not Really Married Club

vaughn is not married to anyone. here's why:

sloane or irina could of let her see her future through the rambaldi machine. (the telling) and then she somehow disappeared after she killed francie. (maybe sloane, sark, and irina captured her and took her to hong kong and left her on the street inside an alley.

that could b how she got there.

and katelyn i agree with that idea too, that makes more sense than all the insane stuff ppl are basing there theories on.

remember she was at her apartment, she just shot francie 2 times and then she hit her head against the wall and i think she shut her eyes, but i'm not sure, i'll have to watch it again.

maybe in the season premire she will wake up in a hospitol bed and vaughn was never married.

only problem is that then she probally wouldn't remember anything. :mad:
 
well it's hard to believe .. but who could resist.. Vaughn was back on the market.. when he thought Syd was dead.. man I'd be all over him... ohhhhhhh that hottie Vaughn .... ohhhhhh :D

thats exaclty what im thinking!! i mean why the hell would they make her disappear for two years and so on it makes no sense!!
BUT, I'm a member of this club, because I don't think this will play out all season as the "real world". It would be too bizarre and hideously depressing. There's no way Alias could ever be a "fun" show again if Sydney has to start from scratch after skipping over 2 years. It'd be like, "Hey, I just lost 2 years of my memory, the love of my life is married to another woman, my best friend is dead, and I have no idea what the hell happened, but I'm wearin' a funky wig! yeah i agree with you!! what would be the point of the show? there has to be a good reason for this and i just hope we are right!!!
 
No, he can't be married. JJ Abrams wouldn't do that to us - it's too weird! I think he might be wearing the ring in her memory or something. It's possible, right?
 
he is so not married...but i thiknk if he is married to her.....cuz...in the other theory thread and stuff it makes sense....but he is so not married to someone else!!! ahem-alice-ahem
 
I think that he had to get a wife for an assignment! Yea thats it. And for all you ppl out there who are saying that Syd and Vaughn are married...it cant be true. Vaughn thought syd was dead those two years! gahhh how frusterating. what's going on? :angry:
 
The thing that most bites about this whole situation that all we Alias lovers are in is that WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR LIKE 3 MONTHS FOR THE NEXT SEASON!! Did ne one else cry at the end? I really don't think that the writers would put Vaughn with some one else. i bet it was a deep cover assignment and he had to pretend to be married to some one else! yeah thats it! lol :P

ok. I was just thinking. has anyone seen "Run Lola Run" ? the origins of the bright red wig? well in that movie lola dies then gets to redo stuff, then her boyfriend dies and then it goes back and they redo stuff again, then the third time they get it right. maybe it's along those lines. (hey, that' creepy! if you look at my yarn sitting in the basket by my computer through peripheral vision it looks like syd...hmmm...) like this would be her future if events unfolded like they had in the finale. but then she gets to redo them, or maybe not redo exactly, but something like that... and did anyone else notice how odd hong kong looked? I mean syd walking through the street looked like a bad movie editing job from a bluescreen on photoshop! and that's not usually alias's style. like she was movie through a sort of dream world, how close that guy passed her and didn't even look up, and how everything seemed kinda slow...did n e one else notice that??????

but what ever happens, vaughn is not married.

Unfortunately, it'll be more like 5 months. This is early May. The fall TV season doesn't start till early October, or late September at the earliest. That's 5 freakin' months!! That's almost half a year! We have to wait almost half a year before we see a new Alias!! Okay, now I'm just depressing myself.
 
ps. I cried and it'd be awesome if it was a deep cover assignment! and that makes a heck or a lot more sense then "hey syd I'm married" which

I'D LIKE TO REMIND EVERYONE: HE DIDN'T ACTUALLY SAY!!!!! we never heard a "syd I'm married" just a suggestive "syd you've been missing for two years" and a ring, which could be anything!

optimism? denial? ... optimistic denial! :smiley:

azalea--- must you remind me of the horrible summer!! i usually love summer but after this finale how can i?? 5 months!!!!! :confused:
 
OOH I am SO part of this club!! If Vaughn is really married, I definitely will cry and go into some sort of crazy denial. I may even threaten to stop watching the show, but that won't happen, even if I say it :P

Ok, before Syd even went back into her house, she and Vaughn were in the car, and they were talking about Santa Barbara...Vaughn said their reservations started that night, and he would come pick her up. So he would have gone to her house that night, and found her lying there and Francie (and probably Will) lying there dead, right? So unless Sark/Sloane/Irina or whoever got to her first and took her body, (which I guess is a possibility), why wouldn't Vaughn have found her and taken her somewhere to get help?

I really think it's some sort of "glimpse" at what could be, and I'm holding onto the hope that she'll get to go back to "real time" and fix stuff. I'm just gonna let myself think that and maybe that will help me get through the summer!

At the moment I'm still optimistic... :smiley:
 
I totally agree with you, DBristow about the whole hong kong bluescreen thang...it was definetly less realistic than ALIAS normally is. And when I first saw the poster for RLR (after seeing ALIAS and said disguise), I definetly had to check to make sure it wasn't a Syd poster.

That being said, I don't think they'll directly borrow that plotline...although I hope they have something up their sleeves to that effect. If only we knew what the telling actually was!
 
Vaughn better not be married!

I especially like the theory about Syd and Vaughn being married, and Syd having amnesia. Like what if they eloped on that getaway they were planning.

Here is my theory (Sorry if someone posted something similar I'm new and haven't read too many posts.)

I don't think Vaughn or the CIA would give up so easily with out a body. So what if Syd did die. Remember the machine that regenerated cells or something (The thing that brought the flower back to life) What if Irena or Jack brought her back. Didn't slone say something weird about Jack joining him soon, and I think Jack would do anything for syd. And Irena seems to believe Syd is the prophecy.

What do you think?
