The Walking Dead Realistically

This has bugged me for a long time now since the show first aired. Now I already know it's Hollywood and Hollywood can never make things realistically but I want to talk about it anyways. First off, walkers. We finally found out walkers can starves, just at a much slower rate then humans and I suppose I can believe that. It's somewhat believe so I will leave it at that, but since starvation applies to walkers then so must other things. If a zombie outbreak happened, I personally would want to go north into the cold. Zombies would freeze killing the brain again and freezing them solid, don't you agree? Along with starvation I assume they can die of dehydration as well at a slower rate as well.

Second one I want to address, all these people are that good with a gun? They can head shot after head shot on a moving target just like that? I shoot guns as a past time and let me tell you, it isn't that easy to get a head shot on a moving target like that. They would have to be some pro shooters with training, even if they had been surviving the outbreak for a while. It would require a lot of training to do that, then again it's Hollywood and none of the guns ever have any kick on them.

Third, infection. We all know if you get bit or scratched you're gonna turn right? Right, but if they are already technically infected, why don't they turn already instead of having to wait until they get bit or scratched? Perhaps I missed something that was mentioned or perhaps the virus is dormant until introduced to an active version, I ain't no doctor so. XD Also, these people are getting blood all over themselves when fighting these zombies or they should anyways, walkers still have blood. You'd think getting blood all over your face, in your eyes, your mouth or into any other small opening like a wound from something else would get you infected but I guess not.

I know it's just Hollywood and a TV series but I just like discussing these things. XD So what do y'all think?

No answer for the first part, I can see what you are saying. Would have to be pretty damn cold to freeze them and kill them. May freeze the body, but once thawed they could come back it would seem. Not sure about the dehydration. They have never mentioned them needing to drink.

I wouldn't consider a Walker a moving target. Pretty slow if you ask me. With proper trainer (that Shane and Rick both had) they could teach the others. Daryl is a hunter, so he'd already know... the others from training. I'd feel comfortable shooting them with the training I have had. I don't agree with a headshot every time, but I have seen in the show where they don't always get a headshot first....

Wasn't something said about that during a scene. Something to do about the bandage or something. I cannot remember. It was within the last couple episodes. Going to have to get the DVR going and see what was exactly said.

Well they say if you destroy the brain or chop the head off they die or they are harmless. Since it's not like the walkers would bundle up in warmer clothing, they would be exposed to the elements. Which when you think about it, like for example rain ect, would speed up the process of decomposition. Anyways, they would most likely freeze, and where I live, it gets pretty dang cold so they would freeze which would kill the brain. So even if they thawed out, I don't see them coming back really since the brain is killed again or "Destroyed".

A walker is a moving target, they can shuffle pretty quick sometimes in the show and with a large horde of them, you would get overwhelmed or run out of ammo pretty quick whether or not you were getting head shots or not.

I haven't really seen them wearing any kind of bandages lately, even so they must have a lot then. XD

It was a show or two after they chopped off Hershel's leg. I will have to watch them again to figure out what was said. I remember something being said, just not sure what it was now that I am trying to remember.

They should have included zombie animals cause realistically animals would turn too i infer(birds would have the best chance(the flying ones)

Personally I would hate the show if they included that. For me the show is mainly about the people trying to survive onslaughts of walkers. If they added zombie animals it would just turn into Resident Evil in my opinion. Sure they might be able to turn, or maybe that would just go rabid which is nothing new OR, they would just die and not come back because the virus only affects humans.

Yeah, not to keen on the animal aspect. I'm glad it is as it is. Although, it would have been awesome to see that deer go eat Carl.

Now that I look at it I have to agree XD ( 0-0 random change of mind XD)

Now that you point out that they pretty much do get headshots after headshots, it kind of does bother me a little as well. I think, realistically, they would not have had enough ammo to supply their survival, and to supply their training.
