The Will to Die
Vaughn stepped into the cold broken down hotel building. He approached the clerk's desk supsiciuosly. "I'm looking for the hotel room of Will Tippin please." He looked around to make sure he wasn't being followed. His hands trembled and his blood boiled.
"I'm sorry sir, but we are not allowed to give information about our inhabitants."
Vaughn looked around trying to find something to cause a masacure of chaos to distract the nonsuspecting clerk. Nothing. Then to his delight he saw a busboy turning the corner with a cart full of luggage. Quickly he ran in the man's direction and when the man's back was turned Vaughn knocked him unconcious. He changed into the man's uniform and made his way back to the clerk.
"Baggage for Will Tippin," he exclaimed.
Being very busy in her work, the woman glanced at him for a millisecond through the tops of her bifocles, then continued with her work. "Room A27."she answered clearly annoyed.
Vaughn continued down the hall at a quick stride glancing at the rows and rows of doors to his left and right. A15. A20. A27. Aha! There it was!! He knocked on the door. Will opened the door and greeted Vaughn. He went into the room not prepared for what lay ahead.
"Why did you invite me here," Vaughn questioned.
"I just wanted you to know that I like Sydney and I've had my eye on her every since I met her. When I first met you, Vaughn I was taken aback at your handsomeness. Handsomeness that I could never compete with. I just wanted you to know not to go hangin' around Sydney anymore for your own good."
"I'm sorry, Will, but you have no claims to Sydney and It is her choice who to love. I will stand by her as a friend. I don't think we could ever be anything more, but I will tell you this I LOVE SYDNEY. I will not see her being treated like some play toy to you." Vaughn's brow furrowed in that all so cute look of worry for Sydney.
"All I can say Vaughn is there isn't enough room in Sydney's heart for the two of us." And with that Will punched Vaughn in the face. He didn't expect that. He grew angry at Will's stupidity and you do not want to see Vaughn when he's that angry!!
For thirty minutes the room became a WWF wrestling ring. Vaughn kicked. Will punched. The fighting started up again this time on the balcony. The room was 120 stories high up. Will had a hold of Vaughn's neck. Vaughn was now on the ground. His head was dangling over the edge. He looked up at Will. Will's eyes were cold and green with envy. It looked like the end of Vaughn. All Will had to do was kick him over the edge of the balcony. Will hesitated but then his foot rose to kick! Vaughn being trained well knew what to do!! He grabbed Will's leg and slung him to the ground.
Will shakily stood up. He started again towards Vaughn unaware of the pipe sticking out between them. Two steps. Three steps. Will's footing was caught off guard by the pipe!! He lost his balance and soon was sent over the balcony to the streets below.
Will screamed in fright and that was the last of him.
Vaughn solemnly looked at the streets below. How would he describe Will's tragic death to Sydney? And here is where this story ends. Remember this All's fair in Love in War.
