Author: Chanel
Rating: PG 13… I guess?
Summary: Sydney recalls her life in 7th grade.
Chapter 1~ And No One Remembered
The tears spread across Sydney’s face. Her every move was slowed down by the fact that her world was over. She stood in the middle of the empty hall. There were muffled sounds echoing but nothing like the sound of silent weeping.
She had just gotten out of first period. Nothing had been wrong when she walked into the building but as she walked out of Mr. Defer’s class she felt as if she was a bug, stomped and stepped on in the once crowded hallway. She sighed, and started running toward her locker, hoping no one would meet her along the way.
It was one of the last days of school. Being gone for a month was a vacation she needed badly. It took a lot of strength to go back. With all the grief going through her thoughts she thought her friends might be able to comfort her, but instead they deserted her.
The weird thing coming back to school two months ago was that no one remembered her. Except for one person, his name was Michael. He was in her math class. She hadn’t remembered him, but when he ran up to her locker, her first day back and whispered in her ear, “I really missed you,” she knew that he was going to be a good friend.
As she ran down the hallway he hoped that he would not be there. IN a strange way she felt butterflies and really wanted his support, but she didn’t want him to see her like this.
Sydney also hoped that the “friends” she had wouldn’t be lingering in the hall like they usually do 2nd period. To her relief no one was there. She put her “junk” into the locker and ran down the stairs into the bright hallway.
She ran right past the principal, and out the front door. She ran past the library, her favorite place to hang out, and pass her old “friends’” houses, she even ran past her own house, knowing that her father wouldn’t be there to comfort her. She ran until she could run no more. She ran all the way to Michael’s house. She sat on those steps crying until finally Michael came home and found her sitting there.
yep its short but i wrote it in between 2 finals.. enjoy. this is antoher reason ARLTB is slow... and partly because of The Followers.. which u shoudl read.. if i havent posted in a while. ENJOY!
