I don't agree with you Milo. Granted that most of today's shows are not as high caliber as Alias, I do religiously love other shows.
I've loved watching Star Trek for as long as I can remember, I think I started in 1987 when I was six years old. I love Fraiser and Friends as well. MY other favourites are either not American shows - as in either Canadian in origin or are British Comedies. My list of British Comedies are in another thread in this forum.
I am also a huge M*A*S*H fan. I am even thinking of writing a M*A*S*H fan fiction, but I still need to be inspired as they are time consuming to write out.
I also belong to a Star Trek inspired online Play-By-Email game, known as a sim. I am so devoted to it, as there are currently several simmers in our little group simming; I try to post on this site when ever I've finished posting on my sim. It is listed in the Yahoo! Groups directory. IM me if anyone is interested in learning about my sim. The sim belongs to the Independence Fleet, better known as the IDF and is set in the Star Trek universe in the twenty fourth century, during the year of 2379; of which according to the official timeline occurs after Voyager returns home and a year before "Nemesis." The Independence Fleet is NOT affiliated or endorsed by Paramount in any way. IM or email me if any of you are interested and want more info.
I would have to say that Alias is my third favourite ALL TIME TV show. #1 Is the entire Star Trek franchise and #2 is M*A*S*H . . . #4 is "Monty Python's Flying Circus."
Which means that Alias is currently my second favourite show that is still on the air, Enterprise is #1 on that list because I'm hopelessly devoted to Star Trek.
