The men in the black van chattering. One was looking up files on his laptop and the other was trying to get a good view of Vaughn's face through his night vision scope.

Vaughn laid silently in the bathtub. His quivers had ceased and now he let the warm water sooth his emotions of the past twenty-four hours. He then remembered Sydney. How long had she been away? Was she okay?

He pushed himself to sit upright. Then went out to find Sydney. When he entered the kitched he was greeted by a wide smile.

"Hey...feeling better?"

"Yeah Thanks"

A moment passed with silence.

"You should sit down, you still look weak"

Sydney took his hand and lead him to the couch where they sat down.

There was an akward silence for a while until Vaughn broke it.

"I should get going"

He started to get up but a grip on his arm brought him back down.

"You're in no shape to drive let alone stay by yourself without care"

Sydney rose to get Vaughn a clean shirt.

"I'll be right back...dont move"

Vaughn realized he couldn't fight Sydney's stubborness so he reclined to a comfortable position on the couch.

Sydney returned with a oversized t-shirt with a surfer on the front. She tossed the shirt to Vaughn who smiled weakly in weakly in return. Then Sydney turned back to the kitchen.

Vaughn changed into the t-shirt so Sydney could wash what was left of his tatered clothes. The T-shirt came down almost to his knees.

Vaughn's POV

Man talk about big...oh well. When i walked in to the kitchen the aroma of spagetti filled the air. The sight od Syd setting the table gave the comfort of home. She must be hurt, but she gives no sign of it. She knows she has to keep her cool- her dignity- her cover. I walked around her as she smiled at me. As i rounded to face her my thoughts jumbled. I couldn't think, once again i was lost in her face.

Sydney's POV

He's so handsome, cute, strong. I don't think I did to well at hiding my feelings for him in the last day. My heart said " why hide now?" but I knew that tonight would be the last part of this dream until SD-6 was down. I have always wanted that for me, but now I want SD-6 gone gone for us. My gaze dropped to the floor as i remembered Danny. My love that i'd lost...should I go on? Danny would want me to. He hated to see me sad.

Vaughn leaned in toward Sydney, but Sydney put her hand up to his lips.

"Vaughn I love you...my heart when i see u because i love you...but maybe we should wait"

Vaughn was stunned at first but then he understood what she was thinking of.

"Okay...lets eat"

They sat down opposite each other at the table and enjoyed a spagetti and meatball dinner...together.

Yet outside in the van the chattering men had almost found a match to the characteristics of Vaughn.
