Truth Takes Time

CHAPTER 1

Sydney and Vaughn walked into Le Suite di ambasciata. Vaughn had his arm linked with hers. Her black wig brushed lightly against her cheeks. Vaughn pulled out a room ticket and flashed it toward the man behind the counter.
"Ciao. Piacevole per vederlo." The man said smiling. (Hello. Nice to see you.)
"Lei troppo." Sydney said, taking the key he was handing her. (You too.)
"Che lei ha il tipo di divertimento qui?" Vaughn asked. (What kind of entertainment do you have here?)
"Domani abbiamo un gioco. Il fantasma dell'Opera. " The man said. (Tomorrow we have a play. Phantom of the Opera.)
"Ringraziarlo." Vaughn smiled. (Thank you.) They walked off arm in arm.
"Easy." Sydney whispered.
"Are you sure she’ll be there?" Vaughn muttered.
"I know my so-called-mother. This was her favorite hotel and that was her favorite play! Plus, I saw who was staying here. Irina Derevko." Sydney smiled slyly.
