Two Questions...

i've read this one before so i knew what all the answers were already. ^_^

regarding the candidates: you can find negatives and positives about pretty much everyone. anyone can be painted in an opposite light of what they're usually portrayed in.

regarding abortion: i'm a very strong pro-choicer but i agree with hombre - it's an argument that no one will ever win. people usually have very strong opinions about abortion and you'll just get a really big headache if you try to change someone's opinion about it.

and yes, it is still legal but just barely. roe v. wade (the case that made abortion legal) was won by just one vote. it was a bare 5-4 split. which means that it is very possible to be overturned, especially with bush continually nominating extremely conservative supreme court justices.

anyway, that's all. bye now.

This is true. Damn them and their intricasies. Crazy spinster, I agree with you... a lot of things are that way. People have such strong opinions...

Very interesting thoughts crazy spinster.

And I think it could be an argument for hours with abortion...so let's just have some fun disscussing the candidates.

wow....difficult decision. I know that it's not allowed right now, but I don't think we should have a draft anyways. It doesn't matter to me whether or not men or women are sent over, but if everyone 18-let's say 35 went over...who'd be left?

I believe if a woman wants to serve then she deserves the opportunity. And obviously women do not have the same physical capabilities of men...I'll agree there, but it is all in a matter of choice. Which is why I'm always interested in learning about rights in the late 19th century early 20th.

I was using the whole title IX thing abuot equality in sports. If women think they are entitles to equal rights there (which they obviously are), then they should be able to serve this country in war too.
