What Grade are you in?

awww eighth graders!!! i'm right there with ya. well technically no. i'm freshman in High school, but i'm suppose to be in eighth grade it that helps u guys to feel any better!!! high school is not bad at all. So much more freedom, you learn a lot more too. if you focus yourself on your school work, chances are you won't get into drugs, gangs, or get pregnant. just don't over work yourself, have some fun sometimes. just dont' go goofing off. You guys should be fine. as long as you have Alias, you'll be great. It's not as scary as it sounds, that's what i thought about my hs. and now i nearly next to never see it. i see ppl smoking but that's about it. But with all honesty, enjoy your last year. it's the year that you will not ever forget. I know I won't, i grew so much closer with my friends that year, even though some of them are going to different hs now. I still keep in touch with them. and Grad, you'll love it as long as you dont' do anything stupid. Once you get into hs, the homework rate might be a shock to you depending on ur elementary school and your hs. if you involve in extra currecular activites you'll find that the seniors are not at all picky on your, I have band so i know all these people in grade 11 and 12 and they're really really nice believe it or not. And just earlier today. I went to the great lakes science olympiad and the two teams were all grade 11 and twelves are just awsome, i had a great time. (btw the only reason i got to go is because i have a good relationship with my science teacher and she's the one organizing this. oh and because i got a lot of the try out questions right) Just dont' go rebel against your teachers, despite the fact that they shouldn't be bias they are still human and your mark wont' be that great. any ways i'm gonna stop blabbing now. nothing to worry about. you'll all do fine :D

High School is great. i loved it. Actually most of my friends were older, sophmores and junior when I was a freshman. People treat you by how mature you are more than they do by age. Same in college.
 
college was so much better than high school for me. i got to choose what i wanted to learn and who i wanted to hang out with. the worst thing about high school were the cliques. and all that disappeared in college. except, of course, for sororities and fraternities which are just glorified cliques.
 
college is better than high school. MY friends and I are so different from eachother. We in totally diff clicks in hs. i sorority girl, a center of attention student prez, an artsy guy problem girl and me all quiet and shy

wow, there are a lot of 8th grraders on this site...we're all going to h.s....what freaks me and my friend out is that we're going to the same school with 18 yr olds...and we're like, super short...and we're going to be around super tall ppl...it just makes us a lil nervous
 
finishing up the 8th grade just one more month and i cna't wait till its done. .i am lil scared of going to high school but alos REALLY excited :woot: but my sis gooes to the high school i am goin to, and so did my two bros and my mom so its all good and plus i have a lot of friends going to the same high school i am going to
 
yeah having older sibs there helps alot!! the first couple of days are the worst cause you have to become acustomed to the new place and you will probably lose your way but youll get used to it!! we had refreshmen orintation and that helped alot!! you get your schedule and get to meet your teachers and things along that nature. took alot of the stress on my back!! but i dont know if you guys have that! but dont worry hs will be fun!! :D
 
I totally love uni over high school. I tell ya, those are years I NEVER want to repeat. Finally like you said crazy, we can choose what we want to learn, wear what we want to wear, hang out with whoever we want to. It's so great. And being able to choose whether or not to actually attend classes is great too. ;)

really i make mine no earlier than 930 cause then i can have the whole afternoon do to whatever and can go out with with not having to worry about being back for class. but what ever floats your boat! and plus im up anyways since i live at home and my sibs are up screamin at each other so why not get class over with early?! :D
 
see, I'd do that, but I'm so not a morning person. I'm all about just spending the whole afternoon in class. and besides, I always work 5-9, and the mall is right beside the school, so it's just easier to go straight from school to work instead of having to go back and forth.
 
oh you guys make college seem so fun, okay lets see....2 years 20 days, i can make it!! actually highschool isn't that bad for me, in fact i'm kinda scared to leave it.... ;)
