Season 2 What would you do?

Let's start by saying that 4 weeks to a new episode is "insane" ... and after that, after the season ends, we need to wait another three to four months ... why do they do this to us?

So, I have been thinking ... what could ABC possibly do for us, who watches "Alias" every week ... I mean, of course on Sunday nights we will have the re-runs, but hey, that wouldn't be enough!

Season 1 had 22 episodes, and Season 2 has 21 (up to now) ... thats 43 episodes ... and a couple of episodes more, because maybe we will have 23 episodes this season ... that would make it 45 ...

Well ... why don't they show the whole Season 1 and 2 during August and September ... before Season 3 begins ... they could show 1 episode every night at 8pm ... and work it from there ... with 45 episodes, that would be 9 weeks of "Alias" on a nightly basis ...

What do you guys think?
 
WHAT? ok i just started to watch alias this season and so theres NO aliases at all in the summer????? I would rather go to skewl ALL summer and have alias on sunday nights! i mean now my summer is TOTALLY RUINED! oooooo REVELATION GIVEN TO LAUREN STEIMLE ON MARCH 30, 2003! (if ur mormon it sounds like the beging of a section in the d&c lol lol inside mormon joke!) my cuzin taped all eposides and im soooo gonna steal them from her (i mean borrow them! :D ) and watch one eposide ever sunday night just to kepp my self happy! lol im such a :geek:

what?! there's four weeks till the next one?!! that's madness!!! but no, they probably wouldn't replay all of them b/c it would ruin their chances for syndication, everyone would have seen them already. that's why they stoped showing reruns on abcfamily. but i wish they would! besides, i'll be at camp all summer, i'll have no tv anyway :smiley:
 
If I was ABC, I'd make ABC stand for "Alias Broadcasting Company" instead of "American Broadcasting Company", and I'd play all Alias, all the time.

But seriously, I think they should give them extra eps this season to make the finale the "47th" episode, because that would be so cool. And I'd play the reruns in order all summer, without pre-empting for sports or news or movies.
 
I like the ep 47 thing. And I'm hoping that they have some good eps replayed over the summer...it would be such a waste of 3 months! But at least the new eps give me something to look forward to during school!

But whatever am I going to do when I'm in Ireland for the first half of next season!!!

I'd totally release the DVD earlier than they have planned so that people will get into it during the summer and more people will tune in for the new season.
 
I'd release both seasons on DVD before the 3rd season. Fox released season 1 of 24 last season and that seemed to really help 24.

Yep, I would do away with the whole 4 weeks thing. There would be a new Alias every week. I would show Alias re-runs everday too. :smiley:
 
ya I think they should do that so it could refresh us on the show catch us all up to be ready for the third season...so ya playing it all summer would be great
