Agreed. At first glance...lol...or first year of living. I hated it compared with every other place. It seemed so dull...and yes our part of Ohio can be. But I love being near Wright Patt (it's awesome!), and the actual beauty of the land. It's nothing like *sigh* Lake Moraine...but it does seem nice...lol..so are the people here!

Wright Patt is great. Did you go to opening ceremonies or to see the President? I tried out for an acting part, but unfortunately they didn't need anymore young actors. My friend Grace got a gymnastic position in opening ceremonies, though!

No, I was gone, but I heard all about it. Apparently he was sweating like crazy! And LOL...Wright Patt was the first place I learned to drive! LOL...my dad took me on and I drove all around the flight hanger! But Bass Lake is gorgeous too...or have you ever seen Project X?

I'm learning to drive down at some church in Kettering. When you go down 675 past the Wilmington Pike exit you can see the steeple... it's HUGE!

I've never been to Bass Lake or Project X.

LOL...they're both very nice. But what is the church called? I'm not sure I've seen it...and 675...*shudder* I hated learning to drive on it!!! LOL...but at least my high way drive is over....a Dayton drive left though! Ack!
