Who cries on time

When life drives into your armour,
classically themed or petty moments on your mind.
Drives through and runs over your heart,
leaving treadmarks for ever found, forever wounding.

Mortality strikes, Andrew watches the end,
generations come and go and it strikes again and again.
The frame and the viewer cries for him
for he knows not yet how to react.

Wake up! Wake up! Don’t you see,
electricity courses through all our veins, alive or otherwise.
Don’t leave, he cries. It is time, we know and say,
this is life you know, you must understand this.

Life passes for us, the human race, all of us,
At the end we aren’t so dissimilar really.
