Who's Sydney's REAL father?

i think arvin sloane loved his wife too much to cheat with irina!
plain and simple.

Syd looks too much like Jack for anyone else to be her father...when i first saw alias i thought that victor garber and jen were fatehr and daughter in real life! it's all in the eyes...

I've stated this on another thread, but here goes:

Remember a long long time ago in LA, a little place called Credit Dauphine? "Dauphine" is French for "daughter of the king."

I believe Sloane envisions himself as the future ruler of the world--especially if his Rambaldi-driven plans succeed.

We all know Syd plays an extensive part of this Rambaldi thingie, so she could very well be "the daughter of the king."

A little sumpin sumpin to consider...

Yeah, but that would make more sense if she were related to Lazarey (Romanov=real royal blood?), wouldn't it?
^_^

this could be a possibiblty but i dont know! i like jack being the father, i mean that family is already dysfunctional enough as it is!LOL
Yeah Vic, I like Jack as her dad, but sometimes it seems like sloane is, and then sometimes Jack. What If Lauren is the daughter of Emily & Sloane? Nah, doubt it. ;)

it was interesting on the s2 dvds that during the second double commentry Carl Lumbly voiced the thought that sloane was the father and was immediatley shot down by the others.

guess we're not the only ones who think the idea is icky

I caught that, too, Frogboy Lives, but still don't necessarily trust it either way. I don't think the actors know that much about the overall plan for the seasons, much less the story arc for the show. I do think from the conversation between Irina and Sloane after her extraction, and from watching the deleted scenes on s2 that there was something romantic in the past between them. I think he believes he's her father and she lets him for some reason- probably to keep him from killing Sydney. But I doubt Sloane's her father- TPTB usually don't give all that many hints for a twist of this magnitude.

AHHHHH good thinking yall!!! love the speculation. the suspense. WHOS right? Who thinks they know what they're talking about but couldn't be further from the TRUTH>? (umm.... me, usually. btw~ sorry to anyone i freaked out at last season when i thought freplica MUST BE A MAN...pretty wrong on THAT ONE! oops...)
Vaughn getting married and the missing two years was a BIG plot twist.. [if someone had made a thread predicting THAT last season, most people (like us die-hard-SVshippers) would have called it blasphemy, when it was the truth!] so I sort of feel like we can't totally dismiss this unbelievable theory, but dont know if we should take the hints TOO seriously...
if it DOES happen, it wouldn't ruin the show! that sounds so pessimistic and close-minded!

It would be rather...interesting...to say the least, if Sloane was Sydney's father... But I really do believe that Jack is Sydney's dad. There's just too much evidence pointing towards it. ^_^

Plus he´s a good father, well not before the show started but around S2 S3 they got real close. and I just love the way Jack describes vaughn to Syd. "a boy would could never be worthy of you"

Don't you think he's maybe warming to him a little? Not with telling him to push her away but as a person? I'm thinking he is.

you mean warning, yeah. cos he wants to protect his daughter from getting huret by him again. cos Jack knows Vaughn isn´t a man but a boy who still needs to grow a spine.
