Horror World War Z

I saw the movie a few days ago (two times... don't ask why) and I have to admit I expected a lot worse, the acting was good and the special effects weren't as bad as people thought they would be, yes some zombies were a bit too agile but considering that they don't feel pain or suffer from exhaustion even an average human body could vbe capable of performing this well.

Now what really annoyed some people (especially zombie fans) was the fact that they used fast zombies instead of slow ones, believe me there's a good reason for choosing fast over slow ones. As you may have noticed more and more zombie movies prefer the fast version because they are more thrilling but the other good reason is that scientifically fast and "alive" zombies are far more realistic than slow undead ones.
You may want to ask how is that, well you see there are real zombies in nature today most of which are the result of manipulation of a parasitic organism over it's host. As you may have guessed in all real cases the host is still alive and capable of doing everything it can, some hosts however undergo changes (example being that a species of parasitoid wasps turns it's host, a caterpillar, into a violent bodyguard for when the young hatch from within it).

No matter if we like it or not fast "living" zombies are going to be the future of the genre, until maybe some day we find a real evidence of an organism or pathogen capable of reanimation... after all nature holds many secrets ;)
