Yay -- I got back from vacation before Irina had the baby! (Although now that SD-1 is back up - yay again! -- I'm getting confused as to who I've replied to on which site).

To come back from 2 weeks of vacation to these wonderful updates made my day! The depth of character and descriptive narratives you put into 'Irina's journals" through your mind's eye is a joy to read.
