Good tips! But at the end of the day, this is the exact reason why I prefer forums over chatrooms. Although it's hard to trust people on forums as well, at least forums can be moderated properly if done by the right people.
We have some anti-spam mods installed, and I'm a member of the StopForumSpam site where I check on daily spammers, and that has helped me a lot. Actually helped me stop one spammer right in their tracks before they can post anything at all. It's an awesome site and very useful.

It's about flipping time! I'm tired of going on advertisement sites and seeing all these stupid warez sites being advertised, when people know that 9 times out of ten, advertising of Warez sites are forbidden on 99% of promotion forums. Common sense with that rule, really.
