There is no liklihood of audience overlap. If the people who've seen ALIAS the last few weeks liked it, they'll stick around. If not, thems the breaks.

The fact is, ALIAS has to be able to stand on it's own without LOSt if it wants to remain viable for ABC. However, even though LOST goes up to 24 episodes (rumor has it, as of now the order is only 23), during the criiical sweeps periods it's still new, while for ALIAS, only AI will be against...

First few rerusn were high (first few episodes), the rest were average. There isn't more AI...it's The Simple Life. No viewership crossover IMO.

Final ratings from Nielsen have ALIAS at number 20 (or 21, I' can't remember precisely) with 13.2 million viewers (down some from last week, but not a lot given the competition) with 4.8 in the 18-49 Not bad. This week, without LOST, will be interesting.

The liklihood of ABC not airing new LOST in January is next to none. Why? a) They want to jump start Alias. That more or less means we'll probably get a new episode January 5th. b) Two weeks of reruns following c) Jumpstart into February sweeps. That means they would get through about 6-7...
