sci-fi is failing in the same manner as g4tv. in the quest for more money they are dumbing down content for people who wouldn't switch to those channels to even find out what is on. so while they alienate their core viewers they fail to gain real attention from those they are trying to replace...

I don't know what to say about captain america in the Incredible Hulk, but I'm totally ready for his movie. The marvel franchise has a die-hard fan in me and i'll watch every one. That being said I agree that I don't mind a bit if they make cap black, but I also don't really feel that will smith...

Ghost in the shell would probably fit the best. It is far-futuristic and probably takes cybernetics to the ultimate end. Try an episode of martian successor nadesico, it's a giant robot cartoon like robotech only with some goofy comedy thrown in.

I remember making my parents watch v. they hated it while I couldn't get enough. Of course i could never catch all the episodes so it wasn't till recently I managed to find and watch the series. I think a remake could work out nicely if it was promoted right. I don't think they should push it...

I can only say that I've always loved stargate. when sg-1 came out and took felgercarb from everyone I knew I watched it. So I am definitely giving universe a shot. I am just afraid that it may be some form of prequel and not continue earths march to domination of all the galaxies.
